Sneak peek and quick tips (Patreon)

Hello guys
I've been working extensively on Fishermen Character Riggs and animation options. Some of them will require cloth physics, so I did a little research on cloth animation options in Blender, and for now I have come across 3 methods for animating cloth in various situations.
1. Default cloth simulation:

Great for - all kinds of scenes, straightforward, precise results if collision meshes, weight painting, etc are done correctly. I recommend watching https://youtu.be/AbyfuW5Aocg
2. Displacement modifier:

I am posting a quick tutorial video in a moment covering this method. Great for - static/idle scenes; can also be applied to action scenes for an added 'over-the-top turbulent feel' that anime is known for.
3. Bone physics:

Seems like it is a good use for specific cloth items like ropes, chains, hair strands, trinkets, etc. As of now I'm not sure if this is viable option to fully simulate cloth. Still a pretty good option for some situations, I recommend watching this tutorial here - https://youtu.be/8rlhOAh5CiU If you want to add this to already existing Rigify rigg, make sure you add the bones to the generated rigg and parent the bones to the bone you wish to move the clothing piece!
I am posting a quick tutorial video in a moment covering the second method and adding a blend file!
