It sounded like you've gone beyond 2015 at this point and I wanted to point out an appearance on Sugarman (another music show they've had repeated appearances on). Yea I’m not sure when or how but I plan on circling back to solo/duo appearances at some point lol wanted to focus on group appearances or else it would take forever to get into the more recent stuff 😅 I’ll check this out soon tho since you felt the need to point it out haha 👌👌

Mamamoo is THAT group who's like a bridge (RBW hello!) that connects kpop to super talented musicians/artists. I'm not sure if you're aware but in Korea, Kpop Idols are looked upon differently than artists who are specialized in live singing. "Idols" are often perceived as the "eye-candy" in the music industry, heavily focused on their pretty face & synchronized choreography, tolerating lip-syncing just to satisfy the first 2 categories. Mamamoo is marketed as Kpop idols who sing like artists. With shows like Immortal Songs and this one, and their song collaborations with other artists, and if you ask them who their favorite singers are, I find myself discovering a lot of amazing, hidden gems.

That’s so interesting! I’m still pretty clueless on Korean culture, I was kinda shocked to learn the Korean general public doesn’t actually listen to much Kpop. I myself am not a fan of lip syncing so I get it! I understand it’s hard to perform and do the choreo while also hitting every not perfectly, but Mamamoo does it!

Yayyyy!!! I love your reactions, so glad I finally had a chance to watch more of your reactions after being following for a couple of days. Loving the reactions, I’ll definitely be waiting for Mamamoo content, they really are a different kind of group, the kind that makes you want to know more about them🥰🥰. And since you seem to really appreciate great vocals, I think you should check out Sohyang, Ailee, and Son Seungyeon all vocal powerhouses and they have such beautiful voices, just a lil push into the Korean music world, while Mamamoo is the only girl idol group I stan, there are so many amazing vocalist, and artist outside of the Idol scene, hope you check them out and fall in love like I did.
