Studying Agner Fog 2: Dependency Chains and Unrolling

In this video we'll cover techniques to break dependency chains, and how to unroll a loop. We explore two different algorithms; summing an array of doubles, and then computing the Standard Deviation of a floating point array. We look at versions in both C++ and Assembly language. Cheers to Agner Fog for his amazing work, and for his kind review and suggestions in the final edit :) Agner Fog's website: https://www.agner.org/optimize/ My Website (shoutout to AztockDog of The Lost Underground!): http://whatsacreel.net/ Support What's a Creel? on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/whatsacreel FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/whatsacreel/ Other Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK7bPumWNzWRnb3N8LCzKsA Music Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2nW...
