Imagine watching this as a little kid... Yeah that's what my dad did. Played horror movies like this so we all had nightmares. 😆 Of course now I love horror, even though I'm still a huge scaredy cat. Idk how it works but it does. Lol

This movie was one of my first memories in general, possibly my first. I tucked the blankets under my legs for most my childhood just in case freddy tried to slice my feet.

One of my favorites from my childhood. I saw this when I was 10 and slept with my mom for 3 weeks after. As soon as Nancy's alarms goes off and she grabs him it is no longer a dream. She pulled him into the real world where he is bascially powerless. You have to be a true horror fan from the 80s to truly appreciate the acting and aesthetics. Wes Craven is one of my favorite directors/storytellers. Thanks for the reaction guys!!

“Maybe she lives on a farm.” Had me laughing my ass off. It was so fun watching you guys knowing nothing about this. I loved these movies as a kid. Freddy was a little bit funny. Every time I was getting too scared, he made me laugh a little. 3, 4 and 6 were my favorites.

Was I dreaming or wasn’t Ash saying throughout the movie “that’s so scary” or “that’s terrifying” then at the end he said it wasn’t terrifying at all. What? And even though I don’t think Nancy (Heather’s) acting was that bad how about the character itself. A great final girl who was way better than Laurie in the original Halloween. The director Wes Craven is known as one of the greatest horror directors ever , watch Red Eye guarantee you’ll enjoy it. Even though I don’t really agree with the criticisms I appreciate you two being so active and constantly putting out content even now with KODA. Thank you 2 !

How I see it is that the whole movie was one long nightmare that Nancy had. The ending makes no sense because New Line Cinema wanted it like that to leave it open for a sequel. But basically, Nancy created the Freddy character in her dream and then she turned her back on him to waste its energy. There were clues all through that it was a dream, from Nancy describing a dream that Tina actually had to Glen dying in a way that can't be logically explained. Another clue was Nancy's phone ringing after being disconnected while she was supposedly awake. It was meant to be one long nightmare of Nancy's
