Harry Read

Top Gun reaction needs to happen, love the vids

Ariel F

Been waiting all day for this!💪🏼

Just Trust Ash

Apologies Ariel, my internet was acting mad today 😂

Howard & Sharon

I am here for you….Ash and Hannah…..not this mediocre film. You are incredibly wonderful and entertaining, witty and clever….. that your reaction to even lousy movies will still be better than anything else on the Internet or on television. Love, Howard and Sharon. PS. Blade 2 …..would’ve been a better choice.

Cody Walker

Hello ash mate is there a way to see the movie asswell

Ryan Barlow

We will be definitely paying the extra to watch this one with you today. 😃

Alexander Ocean

You have to rent it, they can’t show it due to copyright

Marlwow Viladoores

Yenno … I’m deciding to buy this on iTunes just because ;-)

Tim MacKay

Watching this with you both now lol amazing reaction!!!

Tim MacKay

I LOVE that you both went into this blind!

Tim MacKay

“Corn on the cob?? Corn starch?” 😂😂😂😂😂

Nauti’s Corner

Omg I can’t wait to watch this. I seen it in Theaters but really want you guys take.

Xander Merrick

Great flick man. My brother is in this film. He's one of the guys at the train station. He said they had a blast making it. Wish I could've been there. We are also twins from Southern Louisiana. So it hits different

Janyce Gonzalez

Ryan Coogler is such a fantastic director. Fun fact; Sammie’s character is inspired by Buddy Guy who appeared as Old Sammie. Fantastic blues singer. One of a kind. An absolute legend who inspired Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards. Love him

Joe from Marketing

I was having a shit week and y’all’s genuine reaction and going in knowing nothing? Was exactly what I needed.

Joe from Marketing

Those aren’t crows, mate….those are worse….vultures. Vultures are the size of a medium to large dog, red-bubbly heads, and pitch black feathers. And what they eat is even worse…death. They eat corpses…bone, marrow, gore and viscera. Vultures are no joke.

Harry Turner

100% Ash I hope you see this buddy

Hayden Rowling

I absolutely loved this film in cinemas, the aspect ratio changes from regular to the full-screen IMAX are beautiful, and the Sammy guitar scene hit different.

Joe from Marketing

I'm with Hannah and a freak too. I could totally eat a clove of garlic. its so spicy.

Nauti’s Corner

Sammies voice make me moist Ash I agree with you 😂😂

Joe from Marketing

my music professor taught us that music is the only vehicle that bypasses the skin and goes straight to the heart

Joe from Marketing

I am probably alone but I like my vampires scary. this movie was brilliant.

Joe from Marketing

Ash...Hannah? If you guys liked the vibe of this movie...you need to check out the movie "the Last Voyage of the Demeter."

HugoBoss435

Probably the best vampire movie! Can’t wait to watch this reaction 🙌🏼

MattN

Sammie is Miles Caton who was been a pretty famous blues artist for like 7 or 8 years. He's really a brilliant musician and I was so excited to see him moving into film. And then to have him become Buddy Guy at the end was just a cherry on top

Kiana Woods

Definitely one of my favorite reactions from you guys 👏🏾

KD23

You guys should watch Freddy vs Jason (2003)

Mif

Perfect! Blade 2 after this would go HARD! Definitely quench that thirst 🩸🩸🩸

Just Trust Ash

KIANAAAAAAAAAAA MAD LOVE TO YOU MATE ❤️👊🏽

Van Davis

Wow. What a 💩 take. 😆

Georgieboy03

One of the best films ive ever watched personally, glad to do it alongside you guys!

Shannon Sage

I was so happy they hired Buddy Guy as grown up Sammie. Legend

Shannon Sage

I’m just curious, what about the movie did you not like? Is it the horror aspect? Did you think it was only going to be a period piece? Do you not like Blues music?

Shannon Sage

I LOVED this movie. So much symbolism. Ryan Cooglar did his research for this film.

Alyssa

You guys need to watch Nosferatu!

SimoneCherie

Loved your genuine reactions to this and openness you showed to understanding the cultures. There are so many cultures in the film and truly, No detail is insignificant but a few of my favorite observations: -> the Chow family are very representative of the Chinese who lived in the delta. -> Annie wears a color known as "haint" blue, you'll see it in the south to this day as the color of porches and ceilings to ward off evil spirits. -> The twins real names (Elijah/Elias) we're actually the same person in the Bible - symbolizing the closeness of twin relationships and a nod to MBJ as one person of course

SimoneCherie

It's a combination of things when it comes to Mary – yes they are living in a dangerous lifestyle so it's safer to keep her away but the real challenge is that she is White passing. This is 1932. We have to remember the one drop rule is in full effect and Mary would be mullato or colored. Here in Mississippi everybody knows her family, and they consider her one of them – but she clearly had a pass with stack and smoke in Chicago and there she passed for white. That's where she met her White husband. When she says she never wanted to be white, she is alluding to the fact that she didn't desire to pass and hide her identity. It is not legal for stack & Mary to have a relationship.

Michael

It's such a small detail, but the Chows spoke Cantonese. All the Chows I knew were from Hong Kong and spoke Cantonese. So you're right, every little detail was thought about.

Muad’Dib

Seems like a mashed up version of from dusk till dawn and Django. Good movie but seems like he got a lot of inspiration from Tarantino and his dialogue just can’t touch Tarantinos. Hopefully he works on that throughout his future projects. I enjoyed it 👌

Just Trust Ash

New movies that are trending will get priority from now on and then we will get on with the movies on our list ☺️

Aj rendon

Please add WARFARE to your your poll. Brutally true war movie you will love

tori

i bought patreon membership and rented a £15.99 film just for this reaction

Just Trust Ash

Toriiiiii!!!! Honestly mate appreciate you so much, hope you enjoy the reaction 👊🏽

Skylar Burns

One of the best reactions ever! And will never complain about rewatching this movie

Taylor Woodard

My first patreon subscription in a few years, this did not disappoint. I'm glad I experienced this with y'all. Definitely gotta check out more Ryan Coogler movies in the future!

Briana Armstrong

I don’t care where the fuck this movie goes… 2 seconds later…..👹

Durk.b

Sounds like you are a hater

Durk.b

We the people did get over it whiteey

Matthew Folz

Absolutely the movie of the year. Great reaction as well. This is an amazing channel.

Mif

Just mention thats it's the same director as Sicario, that might sway ASH 😂

Dee

For those of us that aren't able to purchase the movie, it would be really helpful to show clips of the movie as you're reacting to it. There's another reactor that does this.

Tami Hart

Anyone who saw it voted for it. It’s a damn good movie

BillieAnn Munday

OFFICIALLY my favorite reaction youve ever done and Ive watched every single reaction on the channel. Ive watched this movie three times in ten days. You notice more and more everytime. Its just a masterpiece and I hope it SWEEPS the oscars. For the genre and for the always overlooked brilliant black actors every single year. If this isnt best picture I dont know what is!!

Nikki Jade

It’s nothing like either of those movies and I love Tarantino.

Iriana F

he explained many times that this story is inspired by his uncle that passed and this story is about wayyy more than vampires unlike Dusk til Dawn. Tarantinos is not all that the best movies he has done was Kill Bill. Ryan Coogler is the best and upcoming director. This piece was original and authentic and you can tell so much love for culture and background was put into it.

Iriana F

Miles Caton is actually known for R&B and has been touring with H.E.R since he was 16. He is actually from a gospel background and his mother is a very famous gospel singer.

Iriana F

BEST REACTION TO SINNERS I SWEAR. Hannah and Ash you guys never let me down I swear.

Jimmy

Someone probably said this already but you guys missed another scene after ALL the credits of Sammie singing

Jan Hamm

Honestly, Sinners is more multi-layered and sophisticated than anything Tarantino has ever done, and I think most of his films are good.

Jan Hamm

What? Sicario was directed by Villeneuve, Nosferatu was directed by Eggers.

Sammxney

Didn't think we'd be getting this so soon hellll yeah

Cayleigh Harper

Is it just me that the actual movie isn’t showing?

Shannon Sage

Please watch Straw by Tyler Perry

Sammxney

For full length reactions you need to bring your own copy and sync it

Sammxney

It's incredible finally watching someone have the exact same reactions I did opening weekend with my sister this movie is something extremely special. You guys took it as seriously as it was enjoyed the parts that were comical and understood the depth that it had so well. Easily my favorite reaction.

Sammxney

It's so perfect that you watched it going in blind because the fact that it's about vampires becomes this huge twist cuz you're so engulfed in the world

Bianca Eze

If you want to watch another WONDERFUL first-time actor, watch Dreamgirls with Beyonce, Anika Noni Rose, and Jennifer Hudson in her first performance ever (SHE WON AN ACADEMY AWARD FOR HER FIRST MOVIE!)
