Ash and Hannah, thank you for your great reaction! I have to say that for a lot of people the relationship between Jacob and Renesmee is problematic AF. It is heavily implied in the books that the relationship will eventually become romantic. Jacob even gives the CHILD a ring and includes her name in his family tree. Moreover, it is shown that the other imprinting relationships in the books become romantic. There is the one wolf who imprints on a 3 year old so he’s not taking her on dates in the book, but given the implications of what imprinting connotes in this world— it’s super objectionable.

Lol I love you guys but you talk so much you miss important details. You can't imprint on purpose. Also, only vampires that feed on human blood have red eyes. When you only feed on animals you have black when you are hungry..then amber/yellow after you feed.

Red eyes mean they hunt on humans golden eyes means the hunt on animals and they can change between the two when they change their diet, and when they first turn there always red just fyi, cant wait for the next film

Btw, imprinting is said to be "nature's" way of giving you your perfect biological match, supposedly to create better, stronger wolves in the next generation (if I'm remembering that right). What I absolutely DO remember without a doubt is that imprinting isn't something either the wolf or the "imprintee" can control, it will eventually lead to romance because "why would the girl want someone else when the wolf will love and protect her with his life", there is already a wolf who had imprinted on a child (three years old or something??? Can't remember her age but there was a brief shot of them at the beach), and a grown man imprinting on a baby whom they will be around as a brother/uncle while they're growing up only to then be romantically involved with them when they're "of age" is the most fucked up thing SM has ever written in this whole Twilight universe. Groomers be grooming in Forks. If I were Edward, I would NOT be kissing Jacob's paws. I'd rip them off his body tbh because EWWW.

I’m from Portland where a lot of the Twilight franchise was filmed, the forest scenes aren’t green screen, the Cullen’s house is a real house here in Portland, and it’s in a forested area. I think the last time it was sold it was $2.5 million, in 2007, it would be worth waaayyy more now. That’s not uncommon around here, I live in an apartment and I can literally go across the street and be in a forest! Charlie’s house is real as well, it’s in St Helens, Oregon, and it’s an AirBnB that you can stay in! The early movies were filmed mainly in Oregon/Washington, the later ones filmed in a lot of different locations.
