Gonna be a great one!

Meatball

Double dose of Dukes this week sign me up

Michael Welter

Looking like a banger episode. Can't wait to listen.

Jose

This is a killer trio right here!

Stephen King

Dammit, Brad...I'm going to have to play Death Stranding again now.

WhiskeyShoots

Did the episode sort of skip around during sort it out or did my fat finger move the indicator on my phone?

Russell Robinson

The cut at 1:21 is funny as hell. Matty said that TMNT Splintered Fate had crashes then it quick cuts to Brad saying okaaaaay moving on. The timing is hilarious.

Okay, I have clearly missed something 🤔… The boys gave off a negative vibe of Apple Arcade but, honestly, my experience with it has been great. Now, keep in mind that (much like video streaming services) I held on to it for 3 months, bounced off for 6 and returned. Maybe my perspective is different because of that but I have found that Apple Arcade has offered some solid titles for the modest price that it is.

I am going to introduce Death Stranding to my Dad, as a trade off the controller scenario till he is comfortable (if at all) to go alone. His favs are Halo:CE, Gears, Alan Wake, & the new Zeldas (never cared for the others). I feel like, with my limited time with Death Stranding (2 hrs., then bailed to save for him), it has some similarities to his favs. So 🤞 😆

I’m definitely not an apologist for Borderlands 3 BUT the slide and tuck behind cover maneuverability in BL3 is incredibly missed, when I revisit Borderlands 2 (my favorite of the series, overall). I will say, my worry for the Borderlands franchise is that it will experience a Saint’s Row trajectory.

I see Microsoft pushing Game Pass on any platform willing, cell phones included, over them doing a dedicated handheld. As a Vita Island survivor, I would ❤️ an Xbox console that I could ‘Switch’ up… I just don’t see it happening, with MS’s subtle focus on Cloud gaming. Hope I am wrong.

360 is my goated console and Xbox one X was my 3rd party console. I got a series x on day one. But tbh, I haven’t turned on my Xbox since January of 2022. The last game I played on there was backwards compatible Dead Space. The main reason being that I collect physical games. My Xbox collection is worthless compared to my PS4/5 and Switch. Im not looking to get rich off my collection but I do need some value to be involved. I got the Halo infinite Walmart collectors edition and found out the game is barely on the disc. I don’t see the value to buy the physical games there anymore. I will try Hellblade 2 this fall though. I enjoyed the first one.

Robert

This is the perfect lineup of hosts and games lol. Matty and cog can dog on death stranding, brad can dog on borderlands

Shoutout to Cog for getting me in on Marvel's Golden Sun. I was tired hearing of him talking about it, until I actually played it and I was realized why he was going so hard for it. I think calling it a card game does it a disservice, because it's way more than that.

Breno Bezerra Bluhm

Cog cooked with his “sort it out”. Executives facinh no consequences at all is one of the worst parts of this industry.

Andrew Morgan

Great episode, as usual. Threw a little shade at the Dukes, but I love em Very heavyhearted beginning. Prayers to the Furman family.

JR

Damnit Brad, now Im playing death stranding....and I still have Isshin S.S. to beat.

Walk Forward Cutscene

I love the GOTY topic but would like to see it cover 2000-2010 occasionally as well.

Dennis Fox

Shout Cog for the Midnight Suns love. Currently working on the platinum and it’s such a good game.

twodaydrunk

I enjoy the GOTY conversations. Brad is definitely the one I connect with his choices for each year.

Diddy’s Dong Quest

I feel like Microsoft and Xbox are vastly over complicating things. If you want to succeed at video games, all you have to do is one thing: provide your customer with tons of fun games and make your console feel like a great place to place. Look at Nintendo. Are they concerned about technology and the future? Not even a little. But they’re killing it.

Heezy

Cog hating on death stranding for being a “walking sim” while thinking hellblade 2 is great is wild

Kevin Cooper

Love the Danganronpa game series, but I fully agree with Cog about the courtroom mechanics -- the devs completely went out of their way to make the logic/controls as convoluted as possible. It's worth pushing through for sure, but man, I did not look forward to those sections AT ALL.

Mr. Scott If You're Nasty

Geeeeeez Matty. The only reason you turn your Xbox on is because of the show? Man, I know you're an emotional dude but really? Xbox still has good games and still puts must-play games on Gamepass. There are reasons to turn on the Xbox. That take didn't sound like the Duke Matty I "know."

Pan Ic

Matty: "Borderlands is one of the best and most important fps franchises". That is one insane take. Anyways, love ya and good show boys.

Jacob Lesperance

Bro... Cog talking smack as a package delivery game, while praising Hellblade 2. This son of gun.

Jacob Lesperance

Guys... A Series S powered handheld is gonna cost $1000, lol. So now xbox is gonna have 4 different SKUs going? That's not gonna happen. Unless they truly don't know what they are doing.
