Christopher Gourley

Hey Shirt Man, First time, long time, Are you going to finish your marathon playthrough of Prey this holiday?

KeanuReeve

Hi Chris! If you were Dustin, what would you say to yourself when you looked in the mirror every morning? Same question about Colin. Happy Holidays ya degenerate goblin mode pro gamer you

Morgan Williams

Merry Christmas Chris, Do you think it is inevitable that Halo will come to PlayStation? And do you think it will be enough of a shot in the arm to jump start the battery for this franchise?

Javin Mather

Hey good sir, it's the holidays, so let's talk regrets! What's a genre of game you foresee never really getting into but likewise hold the most remorse that it didn't ever hook you via a specific title or some unique facets of it you know would otherwise be appealing to you?

DirtyIncomeTax

Chris my boy! Love seeing you re-introduce yourself to Indiana Jones. What a wonderful IP. Endlessly classic. However... I must EMPLORE you to check out Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Dial of Destiny. In my opinion, these movies are more unjustly vilified than any other films I can think of. They're great flicks that get hate simply because it's the fad. It's cool to hate Crystal Skull and Dial of Destiny. But they're genuinely good. I honestly think their themes kinda fly over people's heads. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the original Trilogy and I'd REALLY love to hear what you think of the latest 2. I think you may have a contrarian opinion, same as I.

Derrek Beeck

As a lover of music, do you ever find yourself listening to newer music or entirely sticking to the past? I find it very bizarre when people's entire music taste stops after they finish high school when theres so much great music out there and with modern tools, it's so easy to find music you'll like. As a quick example, I loved learning about Viagra Boys from the new Tony Hawk remake. An excellent throwback to punk of the late 90s.

Trent Miller

Merry Christmas Mr. Raygun, Do you have a favorite holiday gaming memory?

Quantum Radish

Hey Chris! Any plans to check out sly cooper 2 and 3 this holiday season? These are my favorite ps classics, I would love to hear your take on them. They’re great stealth games, and have a very unique feel allowing you to play as multiple characters and explore hub worlds. You can tackle missions in any order and the major heists in these games have given me some of my fondest PlayStation memories. Happy holidays!

TheUnchartedWolf

Hey Chris, I started listening to you guys this year so apologies if this has been answered already. Why do you have such a vitriolic hatred for Imagine Dragons. I don't even like them either but the fact that you refused to watch Arcane because they were in it fascinates me. Thanks for all the hard work you put in!

Clark Petri

Chris, Largely due your praise I finally played through Shadow of the Colossus. Would you elaborate on why you adore the game so much? I ask because you've largely been a gameplay mechanics and control gamer first, which seems to stand in contrast to the controls and feel of Shadow of the Colossus. Of course it's beautiful, somber, and elegantly directed. However, my enjoyment of those positives was heavily impacted by frustrations I experienced controlling the game itself, from Argo to camera controls, as well moments when it felt like I had no control of wanderer (which I understand is by design). I'm fresh off the game and still processing my thoughts. Overall, it's a game I'm thrilled to have played once but never need to play again. Clark Petri

Kenneth Koepnick

Hey Chris! Happy holidays! Is there anyone in the gaming industry that’s like a dream interview for you? Someone you’d love to sit down with for an hour podcast.

Alex Roberts

Hi Chris, Have you played Indiana Jones and the Great Circle yet, and if you have, did it hit that stealth itch you’ve been yearning for since Ubisoft started their decade long edging-streak with Splinter Cell teases? I think it’s a truly unique gameplay experience and gives me hope that AAA gaming still has some creative juice left in it, even if everything is heading towards licensed IPs being the standard. Have a great Christmas!

thejjuan1

Chris. What are your thoughts on the current run of Destiny 2? I’m or was a hardcore player and have been playing this series since 2014.Played every season and every expansion. But I soon did that 12 player activity and defeated the Witness. I felt not compelled to go back. I have been trying to go back to play more, but the drive is gone. This will be my first real break from the game, and won't come until next June. If you are still playing? What is bringing you back. If not, what can Bungie do to bring you back?

Daddy T

Chris, serious question here, is your uncle really named Lucho?

KZ_Eikon

Hello Chris, Have you seen any of the terrifier films? And when will we get a game where we get to be the slasher that’s not a DBD clone? Thanks and a merry Christmas to you and your family

Dylan Manuszak

Hey Chris! It you! Kill. Marry. Fuck. Milo Yiannopoulos Dave Rubin Ben Shapiro. Go. Also what's your favorite brand of cereal to eat without milk? Thanks homie.

Tim Chaten

Hi Chris, I’m about to jump into Final Fantasy 7 remake and Rebirth for the first time. Any tips for jumping in and not getting too burned out by these long, but great games? How much of the side content would you advise engaging with?

Kienan DeLaney

Howdy Chris! My question is simple. What is your favorite Christmas movie/holiday special. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Thanks for always bringing the laughs to LSM!

Russell Garrett

Hey Chris. Not to kiss your ring or anything, but between listening to you here since day one and The Snark Tank day one, I think you’ve grown so much as a podcaster and you express yourself so much better. Do you notice that in yourself? Is it something you’ve actively tried to be better at or is just “reps” - having done it for so long.

Davy Sueppel

What’s up dude, Do you think a Destiny TV show could work? What would it need to be successful? What would episode structure consist of? What would the actor roster look like? Personally I believe this could be done well, if it was quality, artsy, dramatic and didn’t hold anyone hand. Maybe something like the first 5-10 minutes of episode one would do an explanation of the Traveler and what it did for humanity but from there it’s just “yeah man this is the world, love it or leave it.” As always love what you all do at LSM and I’ll hang up and listen.

Liam Venencia

Hi Chris, Long time listener and big fan. You've mentioned in the past that you're a fan or Soichi Terada, the ape escape composer. Are you a fan of any other similar composers/ producers? PS1-era Jungle, ambient DnB and breakcore is becoming increasingly more popular and it would be interesting to get your take on the genre. One of my favourite current producers is "pizza hotline", who has sampled things like Metal gear solid, wipeout and PS2 menu sounds in his tracks. Thanks and have a very merry Christmas, Liam Venencia

PluuusRyan

Hey Chris! Have you been watching Dragon Ball Daima? I've been really pleased with the overall product so far and feel like it's really hitting its stride in the narrative and action. Obligatory RIP Toriyama.

Ernie M

Hey Chris! Halo: Reach is the best Halo game, I fear. Happy holidays!

Jambi

What’s up Chris, Should Team Asobi make a new Ape Escape game? Maybe a remake? What say you? Take care and happy holidays you bastard.

Diddy’s Dong Quest

Heyo Chris! I don’t think any of the Sacred Trio (asides from Colin many years ago) ever gave us their top games of all time. Would you mind giving me your Top 5 Games? I wish you, your friends and family many holiday blessings 🙏🏼

Anton Kaye

Hey Chris, I also wear glasses and found VR to be extremely uncomfortable with the pressure on my nose while wearing glasses. Someone suggested HonsVR.com It has been an absolute game changer for comfort and enjoyment for me. You give them your prescription and they send you lenses to put inside the unit; the best part? They are only $50. Give it a shot if you want. I hope to see you on more shows with Dagan and Jaffe in 2025. I think you guys really compliment each other well. Thanks and have a bunch of coquito over break! Merry Christmas.

Samurai Costanza

Hello Chris, I hear you really like good physics in games. Yknow...Luffy has some good physics. Maybe you should try One Piece? Have a great holiday, my little pirate king!

Kazden Risk

Hey Chris, how are you feeling about the future of Destiny? I feel like The Final Shape stuck the landing so well and then the follow-up (disastrous) news at Bungie made the future seem very uninteresting. Interested to hear your thoughts. Cheers.

James York

Hi Chris, What is the worst game you ever finished to completion and why did you do it?

Vault101guy

Hey Chris, Besides splinter cell what's a wishful thinking game that you want? Thanks

sotelo74

Hello Chris, What’s your favorite cp currency in video games?

Josh Correa

Hey Chris What are your current most anticipated games for next year?

Ben Griffin

Hey Chris, What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever done?

Dick Whiskey

Chris, If you had to choose, would you rather a new Bionic Commando game or Crash Bandicoot 5? Also, could you use your powers to will a Def Jam Fight for NY Remaster or Motorstorm Remaster into existence, please and thanks? Stay frosty

Matias Vera Lopez

Hello Mr. Gun, Ray. First time writer, long time listener, medium time supporter. I recently upgraded to PS+ Premium for the remaining days of my Essential, and after playing Astro Bot, I got the itch to experience PlayStation history. feel my gaming taste aligns with you the most, so my question is, what are the seminal games any person with a PlayStation should experience from each generation? My first PlayStation console was PS4, so I've played games from that generation, but nothing prior. Greetings from Ecuador

Antonio Rodriguez

Hey Chris, Would you rather have dicks for fingers or dicks for toes?

StewDog

Chris, What is the best Halo weapon and why? The worst? Take care and have a great holiday

Areola Connoisseur

Hello Chris, As a fellow Puerto Rican I’m always happy to hear you talk about traditions with your family and introducing your friends to Coquito. With Christmas drawing near I wanted to ask your opinion on three Puerto Rican favorites I’m unsure you’ve tried. Alcapurrias, bacalaitos and pasteles! Looking forward to your answer and saludos from the Caribbean.

Petre Cismigiu

Hey Christopheeeeer. Since you went to film school, I wanted to ask you this. Which Hollywood director you think could successfully transition from movies and direct a highly successful triple A game? What I mean by that is not just some Hellblade 2 type game, which looks pretty and all cinematic but sucks in terms of gameplay, but a GAMER'S game. Someone who would say "power to the players" instead of action, if you catch my drift

Kraemer

Hey Chris F-M-K? Gwen Stacy (Garfield Movies) Aunt May (Holland Trilogy) MJ (Toby Trilogy) Kraemer Not Cosmo

Meatball

Christopher, What’s a gaming take of yours that would cause someone to hire a hitman named Luigi to assassinate you?

Steve

Hi Chris! Learning guitar recently. Mostly metal. Any tips or advice you’d give yourself if you were starting guitar again. Love you baby girl

Azzan

Hello Chris, what is your personal opinion on Tears of the Kingdom as an open world game? and the ultimate flexibility to do anything (and go anywhere) without story progression restriction?

Jordan Falduto

Have you ever thought about live vlogging, getting in a random cab, and then shouting "TAKE ME TO LOCKHEED MARTIN" all while blasting The Offspring on a Jawbone bluetooth speaker?

Brando-Kazooie

Whaddup C bag, Assuming no IP restrictions, What would you recommend Bungie do next outside of Marathon? Halo? Destiny? Or are so many OGs gone just nothing? Thanks and Feliz Navidad or happy whatever they celebrate in Cuba. ;)

Lars Serny

Hi double Phat, What PS3 game should I play now form the physical game collection. Happy holidays

Nick C

Hello Chris, given that your sleep habits are closer to those of David Goggins and Jocko Willink than Colin Moriarty, have you thought about embracing a Navy Seal-like fitness routine to revive your IG thirst traps? I’ll hang up and listen now.

Bill Cosby singing Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Hey, Chris. Been a long-time fan and have listened to both Sacred Symbols and Snark Tank from the beginning. How has the Snark Tank done this year in terms of growth? Are you pleased with your progress? Do you plan to do more promotion and have more guests in the coming year? Anyway, keep up the great work. You guys have reached and in some ways, surpassed Cum Town in terms of favorite comedy podcast for me. Happy Holidays.

Lizurd

Chris my boy! What game of 2024 has surprised you the most? I know you raved about mouth washing, space marine 2 and silent hill 2, but which one did you least expect to blow you away.

Nick Pacheco

Hello Chris, What would your cults name be if you started one?

Nick

Hey Chris, what was your favorite game you got for Christmas as a kid?

Hand Solo Job

Hey Dancing Kangaroo, Which 2024 game do you regret playing? If you can’t think of one, which 2024 game do you feel was the biggest waste of time? Happy Holidays.

EugeneLevyBassist

Hey Chris, So you're a fan of Pop punk but don't like blink 182? Explain yourself! Just curious. They are my favorite band of all time. Awhile ago, two episodes in a row, you guys were making fun of them on sacred. Since Tom came back to blink and the new album came out, they have had this amazing come back. Also, don't judge them off of All The small things and I miss you. They have way better songs not radio played. Thanks Have a great holiday break.

JP

Hey Chris Chan Sr., Could you do me a favor? Could you finally play Outer Wilds? You've talked in the past about being interested in the game but seem to have never gotten around to it. No one at Last Stand has tried this game or really talked about it but I think it is one of the most unique experiences I've ever had in a game. Could you be the champion for me and the other Outer Wilds enjoyers? Happy Holidays, JP

Raul Hernandez

Hey Chris Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 🙏🏽 🇲🇽 Mexico

yosh_wah

Hello Chris, If there was a documentary on each LSM members life, whose would be most interesting and engaging, and whose would be the least interesting to watch? Consider drama, trauma, escapades, career achievements, career downfalls, and so on and so forth. Anything that might be included in a documentary. I’ll hang up and listen.

Metal Nipples Solid.

A-Yo! Would you rather have dick sized nipples or a nipple sized dick. Also what are your thoughts on this generation? Is it lackluster or exciting? I like your work and think you’re a Puerto Rican Carlin. Have a good one.

Peter Martin

Hi Chris, I know you're a fan of David Mitchell. Have you seen his video on American sayings? There's a bit where he talks about the phrase you guys say: "I could care less" and how it doesn't really make sense if you're using it to say you have no interest in something. Us Brits say "we couldn't care less" as in we don't care at all. I recommend watching the video as it's very funny and he goes into more detail. I would love your thoughts on it. https://youtu.be/om7O0MFkmpw?si=gkaqeUy-Ux3eBcJ0 Thanks, Pete

NeO JD

Chris, you son of a bitch, Why do you think Bungie is going with an extraction shooter for the game that could potentially sink their studio? Do you think this is a smart move? How do you envision them pulling this off if so?

Titans1fan93

Dearest Chris, Our frivolities year concludes. As we wait to start the 2025 campaign of life and the world seeks battle again. There is confusion as to who we shall face. So I ask you this good sir. If you had to predict. What gaming company is most likely to drop a concord next year? Merry Christmas and a Happy new year.

Cameron O'Neill

Hey Chris have you had a chance to check out Destiny: Rising, the NetEase Games Destiny mobile game. Skillful did a video on it and looks like it may be the real deal and does a lot of things better than Destiny 2 does. What would it take for you to jump into the game?

WashedAF

Hi Chris, I wanted to respectfully challenge you on something. You seem to frequently mock hardcore fans of stuff that you’re casually into. You’ve mocked LOTR fans to defend Rings of Power, DC fans over that shitty Rocksteady game, and Fallout fans for the lore implications of the TV show. It bothers me that you position yourself as above the fray when you have stuff that you’re passionate about too. You made an excellent 30 minute video about the negative impacts from adding advanced mobility to Halo. Isn’t that just as dedicated as the other fans that you consistently mock?

Owen S

Hello Chris, Why do you think tech is so often blamed for the performance vs quality issues in gaming? Shouldn’t it be the responsibility of the dev to make a product that works well on the current hardware? Just started silent hill 2 and the performance mode on base PS5 looks absolutely terrible, which inspired this question. I don’t think this game is SO impressive looking that the graphical downgrade should be as noticeable as it is Thanks dawg

Nathan Densley

Hello Chris, What's a deep-cut-cinephile film that you saw and liked? I watched one Ignmar Bergman film and then had to watch like 50 more. I know most of them wouldn't be for most people, but I loved them. And Bergman isn't that deep of a cut. So any films I should look out for?

Johannes Holmberg Wike

Hey Chris, How about that Luigi Mangione? How about the McDonalds employee that might not receive a payday? How about all those Sopranos memes about Luigi? What a ride this has been.

Ichiban is better than Trails

Hello Christopher, What’s your opinion on the modern comedy scene? Personally, I think a lot of the time it’s just people trying to be “offensive” without having a good punchline to back it up (especially the people who are friends with Joe Rogan). Also, is there any comedians you would recommend that might not be in the spotlight? Anyway, have a happy merry Hanukah and thank you for a good 2024

Arran Barnes

Sup Chris, hope your well, What games do you intend to play over the holidays? Dusting off anything from the backlog? Keep on plucking that Turkey my friend. Love from the UK

Nevets

Hey Chris, I enjoyed the discussion you all had on Sacred Symbols about game length and not really replaying games immediately after beating them like you would have when games were shorter. I've been the same way, but this year I beat A Plague Tale Requiem twice in a row and Hi-Fi Rush four times in a row. It's been a while since I've done something like that. Is there a game in the last year or two that you immediately replayed after completion? Happy holidays and welcome back to YouTube!

Rolando Candelaria

Hello Chris, Being a fellow Puerto Rican, I've noticed you mention coquito quite a few times over the years. I was wondering, do you have any other PR favorites in terms of food and beverages? I personally cannot resist arroz con gandules with pernil.

Mike Held

Hey Chris, Thanks for The Bronx recommendation. They're great. Have you listened to Billy Talent? They're a great punk band. Also, what are your thoughts on Arctic Monkeys and music from across the pond in general? And lastly: Did you know that the singer from Imagine Dragons is married to the singer from Nico Vega? So...how you feel about that? And actor Michael Pena plays bass in Nico Vega! Thanks, take care!

Giovanni D'Amico

Hey Chris - with Soul Reaver coming out, where are you setting your sights next with your incredible ability to manifest remasters and remakes just by invoking their name on the show? Is 2025 the year you finally have the strength to pull Splinter Cell from a parallel reality into ours?

JoshM

Hey Chris, In terms of 2025, do you have any general gaming wants for the year? Be it games you want to get to in your backlog, or hopes for games to be announced/released - where's your mind at? Also, bonus question: Favourite Destiny campaign and destination? Thanks for all the great shows, hope you have a good Christmas and holiday season, and best wishes to you and yours for the new year!

SIR_K_Daddy

Hey Chris, Just curious what you think of the Soul Reaver remaster? I, like you, am a huge soul reaver fan. I thought they did a really good job with the remeaster, still PS1 jank but the best of it. Hope you have a great holiday.

towtansua

Do you think that Destiny 2 will have long-term preservation in the future? Do you think it should someday have an offline mode like Suicide Squad will?

TeethMummy

Hello to the WICKEDLY talented ChrisRGun, Like you, I'm a NYC native who moved to the west coast. I live in Washington now, which is different than California, but what to you are the best and worst differences for you? For me, sports on TV start and end earlier, which is great, and summer in the PNW is amazing compared to the east coast swampy humidity. Worse? Everything else I guess. Food options compared to NYC are ass, people out here drive too politely making them unpredictable, and you can't walk anywhere, always need a car. Thanks and keep fingerin' that fowl

Michael Elady

Chris, please don't disappoint me—just sing whatever comes to mind: 🎵 "So tell me now, if this ... 🎵

NeighBuRrR

Chris, sometimes you say the absolutely incorrect shit with your full chest out. How do you manage to live with yourself ? Where does the confidence come from?

Nick Gagas

Hey, man. What inspired you to be the creative force that you are today? What was your motivation to start creating content? How did it feel when your notoriety began to skyrocket? And what is your favorite track from the Scott Pilgrim vs the World OST?

Robert

Howdy Chris, What is something you would love to see from developers and the games industry as a whole in 2025? A stop to a shitty trend, a shift in design philosophy perhaps? What would have the biggest impact in your mind? Hope you have a fantastic Christmas, and wishing you all the very best! -Robert

Echos93

Chris, As a fellow Puerto Rican myself I have to ask, why haven’t you gotten Colin or Dustin to try out Coquito yet?? I love how you bring it up on Sacred Symbols but cringe at the fact that Colin nor Dustin don’t know how wonderful this Caribbean delicacy really is. Please do something about this ASAP. From one Puerto Rican to another, Happy Holidays and drink plenty of Coquito.

Scott LaFontaine

I'm late here, oops. But hey chris, you always talk about your love for CTR. Just wanted to see if there are any other Kart racers that you have tried and enjoyed. Obviously none compare to Crash, but I've found the Pacman, Dreamworks/Shrek, and Beach Buggy Racing 2 all to be pretty decent. Thanks

Tyler Lindbeck

Watup Chris. Since Colin wont ever read my write ins, l gotta try with the real star of the show. Can you say hi and bye to Nicole for me. Since she will dump me after forcing her to listen. Lol. Huge fan of all my people at L.s.m.
