Hello Big D Outside of one piece, is there any other manga and anime your enjoy at the moment? And what are you looking forward to next year in anime? Thanks and a merry Christmas to you and your family

Jared A.

Hey homie, Recently finished both NieR games. Everyone raved about automata's story but I found replicant very powerful. I would say that the story of automata is strengthened due to replicant. Which story do you prefer?

KeanuReeve

Hi Dustin! If you were Colin, what would you say to yourself when you looked in the mirror every morning? Same question about Chris. Happy Holidays!

Derrek Beeck

Hello, Quick one, what was your favorite movie you've seen this year? You and Chris appear to be the only ones on the network who have seen movies released after 2004 so I'm interested in your opinion.

Trent Miller

Merry Christmas Dusty boy, What is your favorite holiday gaming memory?

James Schubert

Merry Christmas chief, How important do you think form factor will be for a new PlayStation handheld? Personally I wouldn't touch a psp/vita style design after using the portal. It's perfect! Thanks for a great year of content!

Samurai Costanza

Hello Dustin, As a fellow Iron Maiden fan, can we show some love for Nicko McBrain. The news of him no longer performing with the band shouldn't be shocking to me, but at the same time this band has been an institution my whole life. I fear this could be the beginning of the end. Very glad I got to see him play with Maiden 10 times in my life. Totally fine if you don't have one, but any stand out songs due to his drumming? Up the Irons!

Javin Mather

Greatest weeb conversion, go! What friend and with what anime did you convert into being an anime fan and/or full-blown weeb??? Ones that stand out to me are getting people into anime via the OG Samurai X OVAs, Last Exile and other Studio Gonzo shows, and early Shinkai films like Voices of a Distant Star and The Place Promised in Our Early Days

Kenneth Koepnick

Howdy Sir! Happy holidays! I run a vintage collectible store in Ohio & enjoy when collecting comes up in the shows, a lot of times because of you. I have a love/hate relationship with price guides, so I was curious- has using pricecharting ever bit you in the ass? Either under or over valuing something during your retro game hunting?

Morgan Williams

Merry Christmas Diamond Dustin Page, With your trip to Japan over and done with what would be your next dream trip be? Wish you a very merry Christmas and happy new year.

TheUnchartedWolf

Hey Dustin! Now that you're fully caught up with One Piece, are there any other long running anime you want to take the plunge into? As for One Piece, will you ever get into reading the manga? Thanks for all the hard work you put in this year!

Clark Petri

Dustin, You were the one that originally put the Kendrick / Drake beef on my radar, resulting in "Not Like Us" making it into my top 10 all time favorite rap songs. What do you think of Drake suing UMG over the song? That seems like the ultimate bitch move in a rap battle, but you're more plugged into the beef than I am. I peaked with the Eminem / Ja Rule beef in the early 2000s. Be well and Merry Christmas to you and yours. Cheers, Clark Petri

Tim Chaten

Hi Dustin, What is the next long running series you are hoping to revisit or play for the first time? This past year I’ve jumped into Metal Gear Solid for the first time and am finishing it up with 5 now and can’t wait to do the same for Grand Theft Auto next. Are you eyeing any series for yourself to jump into?

Meatball

Greetings Dustin, Please rank the following Christmas songs from most banger to least banger: 1. All I want for Christmas is You 2. It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year 3. Last Christmas 4. Jingle Bells 5. It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas 6. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

thejjuan1

Hello Dustin. First I want to thank you personally for introducing me to LSM. When you joined Frame Trap a year ago, I was really compelled by you and Brad's chemistry. When Brad joined LSM, I jumped as well. Sorry this might be a silly question but what is this new Dustin lore drop from the last episode? You and the crew kept mentioning you couldn’t watch TV back in the day? I’m still trying to figure out all of the inside jokes and lore. Thank you for your time.

Quantum Radish

Dustin, Do you have a favorite memory from the HAM radio days? I was originally introduced to Sacred through you, and I discovered you through Matty’s podcast. Just curious if you ever think back to the days when you, Matty, and ACG were shooting the shit. Happy holidays!

Kienan DeLaney

Howdy Dustin! My question is simple. What is your favorite Christmas movie/holiday special? Thanks for the wonderful year of LSM content. I always look forward to hearing you on the various shows.

Russell Garrett

Hey Dustin. How’re you doing in general?

Mitch Krassin

Hey there! How much have you interacted with Holly's music teaching? Has she taught you anything? My wife also teaches music and there's plenty of music floating through the house.

Davy Sueppel

What’s up dude, Would you ever want to play some BOPS 6 with me? I typically wait until my wife and daughter go to sleep to play games and none of my friends stay long enough to play with them; so the game can be pretty lonely. I extend this to anyone in the LSM community. My user name is “MrDavy” (no numbers) and I’m a decent enough player who would love some friendly communication. No stress at all and have a Happy Holiday!

Owen S

Hello Dustin, What is next on the retro gaming docket for you? Cheers!

Anton Kaye

Hey Dustin! I miss you hosting (No knock on Brad, he does an amazing job). Have you thought about creating a new show for LSM with you in the driver's seat? Maybe something retro game collecting and playing or anime based? We wish nothing but the best for you and your family. Have a much deserved break and Merry Christmas!

Dylan Manuszak

Hello Mr. Furman, Sorry if this question is inappropriate. Do you have any advice for someone going through a hard time? My wife and I have found ourselves in a situation similar to you and Holly, twice now this year. I want to take the burden away from her, but I can't, it's very discouraging. I hold her and tell her I love her, but that's really all I've got. What things can I do to ease the situation or take her mind off things? Perhaps a trip to Japan 😊 Thanks for all you do!

Ernie M

Hey Dusty boy, Just wanted to say thanks for putting me on to Nier Automata. The gooners rejoice. Happy holidays!

Diddy’s Dong Quest

Hey Dustin! I don’t think any of the Sacred Trio (asides from Colin many years ago) ever gave us their top games of all time. Would you mind giving me your Top 5 Games? I wish you, your friends and family many holiday blessings 🙏🏼

Kazden Risk

Hey Dustin, do you often prefer the anime or the manga? Cheers and take care!

Tyler Fewer

Konichiwa Dustin-senpai, Recently I have found myself in an anime lull and I’m looking for a shorter series (50 episodes or less) to kick me back into weeb gear. What are some of your favourite shorter series that you’d recommend, all genres are welcome! Thanks and Happy Holidays!

James York

Hey Big D, Have you ever had buyer's remorse for any of your retro purchases? Do you see yourself collecting for a long time in the future? Take care!

David Shattenborough

Dustin, I have an impossible choice for you regarding Jimmy Eat World. Which is better : Bleed American or Futures? My head says the former, but my heart says the latter. Merry Christmas to all the Furmans, thank you for keeping me entertained every week!

Dixie Normus

Greetings Dustin, The Ultimate Producer, If the stars aligned do you think we could ever get a Danganronpa series spoilercast with you and Matty? It would interesting to hear your guys' thoughts on the series as a whole and the ending of Danganronpa V3. It would be nice to have Colin on it as well but who knows when he'll ever get around to finishing the series. If something like that doesn't seem possible could you share your thoughts on V3's ending here, did you love it or did you hate it? Take care and enjoy your break but keep the thrills, chills and kills to a minimum please.

Josh Correa

Hey Dustin What are your current most anticipated games for next year?

Dick Whiskey

Hey Dusty Who would you fuck, marry and kill out of Brad, Matty and Colin? Stay frosty

Ben Griffin

Hey Dustin, I need your weeb opinion. My job contract just ended and I’m taking some off for the holidays. Is now the time to finally catch up on all of One Piece? Do I cheese it and watch the recap videos? Or should I just play Metaphor instead?

Chris Fazio

Hey Dustin, how about a gut check on Kingdom Hearts? How do you feel about the third game 5 years later? Will you play Kingdom Hearts 4 whenever it’s released or do you think you’re out? Merry Christmas and be well.

StewDog

Dusty Boy, What is one of your favorite memories from your church/youth group days growing up?

slick

Hey dustin, With Xbox seemingly on their way out of consoles, do you see PlayStation trying innovation concepts with hardware? Seems like the cell processor really spooked them with Xbox 360 being their to become a favourite for developers who were down on the cell processor tech.

Areola Connoisseur

Dusty Boy, As a fellow Evangelion fan I wanted to get your opinion on the Rebuild films. Started off as a better animated retelling before taking some crazy departures from the original run, Still I loved it and enjoy it as a companion piece to the original 26 episodes. What’s your opinion? The best to you and Holly, Merry Christmas!

Petre Cismigiu

Hello dus-teen So you're sent to prison, and the sentence is 5 years. You get to take whatever video game console you want, and ONE disc based item. (So it could be a single game or a collection like the PS3 god of war one, so anything that has a retail option). And obviously no internet connection inside, so just single player options. Which console do you pick, which game(s) and why? Wishing you all the best, and in all seriousness please know that what you do, as trivial as a playstation podcast might seem, really does help tens of thousands of people feel better every single week, myself included. Happy Holidays my friend

Kraemer

Hey Dustin Give us the top 5 MUST watch Anime shows and 2 sleeper Anime shows to look out for. Kraemer Not Cosmo

Azzan

Hello Dustin, do you think Nintendo will "wet the bed" with their next console?

Brando-Kazooie

Yo big D, Jimmy Eat World is my fave band, my daughter's middle name is Clarity (my fave album of theirs). What's your favorite JEW album and top 5 or so JEW songs? Merry Christmas you handsome devil.

Nick C

Good morning Dustin, at the time of writing this, I just got engaged to my girlfriend and am super excited about our upcoming marriage! Any advice on how to manage or adjust gaming habits now that I’ll have a partner living with me for the first time? Thanks and have a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Lars Serny

Hi Dostin, We are now going on 9 years with this generation of PlayStation, and the rumours of the Ps4 are getting more and more plentiful. When do you think they will make an announcement about the new console. Happy holidays ‘24

Bill Cosby singing Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Hey, Dustin. Mid 2000s Tooth and Nail Records really is God-tier (no pun intended), isn’t it? Every now and then I’ll feel a twinge of nostalgia and check out an album I haven’t listened to in years. What do most of the ones that still hold up have in common? Tooth and Nail. What are some of your favorite Tooth and Nail bands? For me, it’s Anberlin, Emery, Mae, Sullivan, and Underoath. Take care, and Happy Holidays.

Reuben Barrett

Hey Dustin. Can you give us an update on the state of retro game collecting. I was recently in Japan and man oh man did i feel like most of the spots had been picked clean.

Nick

Hey Dustin do think ff17 should be turn based ?

Omar Rosa

Hey Dustin, Do you have any retro gaming collection goals this coming year? I'm hoping to cop a Saturn and PSP-3000. Thank you for all you do.

Hand Solo Job

Hey Dustin, How would you rank these inevitable, unannounced, sequels on your hype meter, from Most hype to least hype. -Lies of P 2. (We know the title will be different but you get it) -Stellar Blade 2 -Next Fromsoft game. (May or may not be a sequel) -God of War (after Ragnorok) -Next team ninja game. (May be Rise of the ronin 2) Happy Holidays.

JP

Hey Dustin, As a From Software enjoyer, how could a game series that you don't care about take inspiration from a From Software game and make it into something you'd be excited to play without just copy/pasting the combat? Is there something else that makes their games special to you that could translate to other game genres? Happy Holidays, JP

Peter Jansen

You still listening to metal and hardcore? Any top picks for this year?

Raul Hernandez

Hi Dustin, Would you ever make a Last Stand music video? What band is playing and who is singing and who is just rocking?

yosh_wah

Hey Dustin, Is Kingdom Hearts a franchise we should still hold on to hope for? While KH3 was nice to look at (graphically speaking), the mechanics were as deep as a puddle and the story fell flat after years of waiting to see the conclusion of a beloved franchise by many people. With the news of a fourth game on the horizon, is there hope to capture the magic of KH1 and 2 that the third entry failed to capture? Also—what are your top 3 most anticipated worlds for the 4th game? Mine are Treasure Planet and a return to Nightmare Before Christmas and Alice in Wonderland. Merry Christmas to you and Holly! Wish you both the best.

Titans1fan93

Merry Christmas King, So I started my One Piece journey this year. Just started the Imperial Down arc and this show been peak. Are there any One Piece games you would recommend?

NeO JD

Round headed Dusty boy, What are you most looking forward to next year in terms of games, shows, and movies? Thank you for another year of being a pretty cool dude. Love and respect.

Nathan Densley

Hello Dustin, Being a Thrice Stan, I was wondering if you were also a Haste the Day fan? While not even in the same subgenre, they did occupy the same space. I'm asking because Haste the Day just had a new release and was wondering if you heard it.

JD_3462

Hey Dustin, Do you have a favorite one piece TCG artist? I’ve been playing Pokémon TCG and rediscovering cards from my childhood, and my current favorite is Akira Egawa (who has also done awesome art for One Piece TCG). Wishing the best to you and Holly!

SweetBabyRay

Hey Big D, What games has Holly been playing? Keep it Creamy, Your Sweet Baby Ray

Ethan Barcelos

Merry Christmas Dustin! I’ve been dipping my toes into weebdom and am currently balls deep into DBZ and it is amazing. I wanted to get your thoughts on DBZ. Have you watched it? What’s your favorite character? Favorite arc? Favorite fight? Favorite outfit? Whatever you got, I wanna hear it. I hope you know much I and the rest of the community appreciates you and all that you’ve given us. Much love to you and Holly and hope you guys enjoy your holiday!

JoshM

Hey Dustin, So I'm looking to try and get through the Kingdom Hearts series sometime in January. Whilst it might be difficult to juggle alongside new games (especially when February rolls around), just wondered if you had any useful tips worth knowing going in? Additionally, is it worth playing some of the spinoffs/interstitials or sticking to the main games? Thanks for all the great shows, Merry Christmas to you and Holly, and hope you both have a good holiday!

Kyle Clayton

Dear Dusty Danglers, Merry Christmas! Before you went to Japan you mentioned you were going to be more adventurous when eating this time. Did you accomplish this goal and what was the strangest thing you ate? I just returned and ate a few things out of the ordinary, horse sashimi most notably. I hope while you were there you had some A5 beef. If not, put that in the list for next time.

Nevets

Hey Dustin, How about that there Sonic 3 film. You uh.....gonna see it? I heard it's pretty good. It's interesting that one of the animators of the CG cutscenes in Shadow's 2005 video game is now directing a Hollywood film with Shadow as the focus. Hope you all stay in good spirits this holiday season.

StinkyPinky

Hey Dustin, You routinely express your interest in different card games. As someone who is new to the digital card game scene starting with hearthstone and Pokémon Pocket, what are some of your favorites? Thanks and have a great holiday!

towtansua

I took my kid to the Nier Orchestrated Concert and Rebirth Concert this year. The symphony here is also doing One Piece music soon, but I haven't even started OP with my kid because we're still finishing up Dragonball. Think I should take him to the OP concert to prime some interest in the show, or just wait until he knows what's going on?

>>157943883

good question i'll look forward to Dustin's answers. I had some great horse bibimpop in korea once. But when I had a korean fiance she made me eat dog once and that was terrible.

TeethMummy

Hello to the WICKEDLY talented Dustin, Take a break from games and weeb stuff for a minute and talk to me about Maiden. Best album? Fave song? Thoughts on the recent future past tour setlist? I celebrate the entire catalog but for me nothing beats The Wicker Man as a song and Number of the Beast as an overall album. Thanks and have a "your time will come!" kinda day.

Parks n Wrekd

Dustin! Now that you are caught up on one piece, can you please rank the straw hats from least favorite to favorite character?!?

Robert

Howdy Dustin, Given the opportunity to, would you ever consider moving to Japan and living there permanently? Or would you prefer to keep it as a frequent vacation location, while maintaining your base of operations in the US? Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends! -Robert

The Snacksquatch

Hey Dustin, I’m going through a big Atlus kick. I’ve platinum’d persona 5 royal and recently finished metaphor refantazio. Currently I’m making my way through persona 3 reload and plan on playing the persona 5 tactica and strikers. I’m excited to eventually play persona 4 because I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it. With that being said, do you think we will be getting a remake of persona 4 like we did with 3 sometime next year? I’m not sure if I should play the version that’s available now or hold off for a possible remake of it. Thanks for all you do.

Echos93

Good day to my favorite Dweeb, Going to keep it simple here but if you could only play 1 gaming console for the rest of your life what would it be and why? Happy Holidays and I hope your Christmas ends up as good as mine.

Ryan Lynch

Hi Dustin - it's obviously been a very challenging year for you and Holly, so let's cut to the chase: how are you guys? What sorts of things have you been doing away from gaming to take care of yourselves and bring you joy (aside from the Japan trip, of course)? Take care of yourselves, and all the best for the holiday season and beyond.
