Does anybody even read these things? I feel like I could fill this space with complete gibberish and nobody would even notice. Rumpelstiltskin. See? You don't even know it says that! Anyway, Col, Cog, Lock and Dag convene this week to talk about stuff. Also, flibbertygibbet, because you'll never see that either.

I read it Dagster!

Ethan Barcelos

Don't worry Dagster, I always read it!

Josef Barker

I read the description to. Even though I listen on Spotify.

Bartevious

I read them even if I don’t listen. Helps me make my listening decisions for the week, lol

JP

I read, therefore, I am

Jordan

I read it every time :)

ThisWayUpV

Don't worry bud I always like to read these.

I think one of my favorite LSM moments was the aftermath of Dustin and Holly's tragic loss last year. The way the community rallied around them and lifted them up made me proud to be a fan of LSM and showed all the talk about it being a toxic community is just that, talk.

Kilgore Trout

Reading finally paid off! Thanks Dagster

Favorite lsm moment is probably the shu interview. Big fish guest, lots of interesting info came out of it, and I was happy that he gave Colin his flowers by saying his questions were thoughtful and smart. Also not an LSM moment really, but all the fake LSM moments lock makes with his edits. It’s rare to audibly laugh at a video or be in tears, but god damn they’re so funny. I love the common threads of shitting on Dustin for anime or when someone says something and it just cuts to Colin with a serious, extremely judgmental look with silence for 5 seconds. The man clearly understands comedy and the timing that comes with it.

Lunar Tear

I havent listened to the episode quite yet, but reading the episode summary this week is like when a teacher would put a secret message in the syllabus, and if you find it, you get extra credit.

Macro

For years of listening to Knockback and Stelly, I have just assumed The Mask comics had an 80s toy line with some popularity in the USA, that Dagan collected Today, in 2025, I have learned that this whole time he was saying M.A.S.C.

Benthegamer

Locke is incredibly well spoken, truly gifted at podcasting

Bartevious

Colin knows algebra but the Pythagorean theorem confuses him?!? 🤣🤣🤣 it’s basic triangular math Col!!! If you’re driving somewhere, would you rather drive 3.6 miles over a bridge Northeast, or drive 2 miles east, hang a 90° turn, and drive 3 miles north?

A miserable pile of secrets

I’m pretty sure the mad libs belly laugh moment they are referring to is from the beginning of Knockback episode 88: Goodfellas. Check it out. I just tried to listen to it again and I had to stop. I’m at work and couldn’t stay quiet from laughing.

Eric

unrelated to the episode but era vulgaris is a goated album

Perfectly Straight Rainbow

You thought you could get that description by me Dagster 😤 Also for LSM moments, a lot of the opening and closing segments from Knockback are always a highlight. That’s some I would to see RETURN. 😉

Big Devin Energy

You gotta cut back on the “…if you’re nasty” Dag, you’ve killed the joke lol

Big Devin Energy

18 minutes in as an audio listener who doesn’t read the blurb…. LOL I had no idea Cog was there hahahahaha

Michael McCoy

Is anyone else shocked that Colin didn’t mention Megaman as the thing he wanted to return? I would have put money on that 🤣

Eric

stand down

Frank G.

Dagster if you're Dagster. The only special ed ass student we need.

Frank G.

Ima change mine to Frankster the prankster. Let's start a movement.

Zachary

Collin! I implore you to watch another show that was cancelled after two seasons called Raised by Wolfes starring your new friend Abubakar Salim as an android called father. It’s amazing and a travesty that it was cancelled. Has tons of heady sci fi themes and centers around a religious war that destroyed planet earth and forced the survivors to search for a new home in a giant colony ship.

Miguel Moreno Cots

Dag is definitely the most underrated host on LSM. Keep it up, Dagster!

PairOfShuse

Locke’s view on being remembered definitely hit home for me. A couple years ago, I decided to cut ties with most of my friends. It became more stressful and depressing trying to be friends with some of them due to them just coasting. Rarely ever asking how I was, only seemingly talking when they wanted to talk about something surface level. I put forth a lot of effort to ask how everyone was and check in since we all have different schedules. Plus it’s good to just see how everyone is doing since, you know, they are your friends. There are some other things like some of them never growing up, but when I finally did cut the cord, with some room to leave things open, the one friend who was my best friend and knew about all of this stuff, entirely did a 180 and turned on me. This was also as I was going through the hardest part of my life. I definitely needed my friends, especially the one I was closest too, and they dropped the ball in every conceivable way. When Locke talked about how when his Dad had his accident and everyone disappeared, I felt that and lived it (not from an accident). It was pretty rough on my end and I still don’t have any close friends now. That being said, there is also a weight lifted because I’m not putting effort into people that didn’t put effort into themselves or show that they cared at all. Gets lonely at times and I still am trying to find some meaning but I’ve been able to focus more on my hobbies and got some new ones as well. My career has always been great and I’m in a great place with it. Learning new things and information and focusing on hobbies and health have been a renewed focus though. Locke said to cut ties with the people who show they don’t care about you, and he’s correct. It might be hard in the moment, but you will feel much worse about yourself when you put effort into people and don’t get the same energy back.

LOCK! You're amazing dude, hearing anyone speak of UO. That is a connection most won't understand. UO was a big part of my childhood.

CharlieCCWM

Idk about moment but favourite story was Dag pissing himself at his aunts house lmao

Envydiel

Affwapiddyfwayfwaps No one reads comments either Colin, dead internet theory.

Senor Benjamin

Just came here to say that Lock needs to be on more shows. He’s really enjoyable to listen to and meshes with any combo of hosts.

JP

Agreed. Also it's nice to hear opinions from someone outside the US too. Brings a broader perspective.

Cyprus Davis

Always love hearing Cog on Stelly. He restores my faith in humanity. Not to be weird or anything. Also love how Colin found a way to bring up the Revolution 😂 good shit guys.

The Corn Rocket

There's a reason nobody is watching the NBA

Bartevious

My favorite moments of LSM are adding defining duke (brought me in), bringing in Cog (I was requesting him myself at the time) and starting up summon sign.

Bartevious

Lock needs his own show

Bartevious

I feel like the nba has finally been getting to a good spot defensively in recent years, but the reffing has underwent such a horrendous downswing. That coupled with cogs points of team identity, league wide turnover and loyalty (star players leaving in their primes, coaches being fired at crazy rates, etc), betting being forced down everyone’s throats with the new FanDuel rebrand for local streams, I mean it’s really so bad.

Victor Melchor

I agree that Dustin is so important to this company. The man is gorilla glue from my understanding.

Kevin Cooper

DAGAN: Give me a game that I have to figure out. BLUE PRINCE: Hold my beer...
