Joe McPartlin

I didn't get through reading the title before my mind started interpreting it in the southern man voice

Ivan Wankinov

I'll admit, that title gave me a good chuckle. Can't wait to sit on papa's lap after finishing SS

I love splitgate but absolutely cringed at the fps maga hat

KYisLife

Made the cut! Thanks Colin.

Wall bouncing in WW1

I’m okay without the live stuff. I feel like doing more should fall outside of the content itself. Stuff like Lilymo games and stuff. Granted I understand collabs and stuff are hard for because potential partners act like LSM is some kind of boogeyman

Cloud

Colin we all know you want From Software to make a Castlevania game idk why you're trying so hard to avoid saying it

Kelzilla

Thanks for reading my question Colin! Going forward I will try and limit the amount of trailers I watch for games I’m excited for.

Ethan Barcelos

The thumbnail and title is sufficiently unhinged. Good job guys.

What do we gotta do to get Colin to watch Dune

Busting on an iPhone Duo and clapping it shut

Thanks for taking my question. I’ve been playing FF4 since I submitted and I can definitely tell that it’s getting a bit more complex story-wise (which is the reason I like what I’ve played of the series—FFVII, FFX, FFXI, and FFXII). I did have some fun with the first three, but they honestly kinda blend together in my mind in a sort of simple fantasy quest slop way. Still appreciate building up the foundation of knowledge for the series and seeing first appearances of all the series staples—enemies, spells, characters, etc.

Thanks for the great episode Colin

Love you daddy Col ❤️

Man, shoutout to Blindside, what an awesome band. First band I ever saw live back in 2006. You say you don't trust Europeans but here you are naming your first trophy in twinbreaker "caught a glimpse"

Big titty drinker

A horizon multiplayer is one of the few multiplayer player games I might come outside for. That game has god tier gameplay and enemy design.

Cousin Kenny

FWIW, and not in the spirit of having to recreate what was old… but as someone who used to watch C&G Live… I do think a live stream with the chaotic energy of Stelly… 2-3 people, videos, nonsense, with a laidback Colin, maybe a wild Jaffe, & some combination of the rest of the crew would be pretty enticing.

We gotta sit around the fire while papa Colin talks to us guys

PS5 is killing cuz Microsoft decided to be retards the last 10 years and now theres no competition. You say Sony is making a killing in 2025 as if thats the product of great games and decision. Is not. They simply got lucky, and if your logic is "well, they dont have to do anything cuz they keep selling out" then I guess Sony amazing run with games ended with the ps4, because they dont have motivation to improve, to impress or to do jackshit, and it will stay like that till a new player comes or something. Such a boring ass timeline

Screwed Mcfucked

I think I know what he meant, but I couldn't help but have my ears perk up when Colin said SF6 is the biggest fighting game at 5 million units. Sakurai putting numbers on the board, SSBU selling like 6 times that.

Vladimir Grabbinmikov

A debate style show arguing games/movies/shows. Not another Disney/marvel/Star Wars channel lol but two people from LSM duking it out over topics like “does this game actually suck? Or something like that. One argues for, one against. But it has to be like two friends debating not like politicians. You could do game trivia, game soundtrack trivia(basically first person to guess the song playing gets the point. This is fun as hell with people who know game and movie soundtracks. Audience can get involved with topics, voting, etc.

Let's plays of specifically souls games would be dope. That Bloodborne KF video is legendary stuff 😂

Bisexual Lighting Rigger

It would actually be funny to witness the conflict he would have. Wanting a new Castlevania for so long but it turning out to be a souls game made by From.

Bisexual Lighting Rigger

I'm so glad that Playstation didn't approach Arc to make a dumb Playstation mascot fighting game. That would have been a colossal waste of time, money and talent. Its good to know that Playstation also knows that.

Jeff in NOLA

Colin, not sure if you read these at all anymore but I’m always impressed how open, honest and genuine you come across. It’s why I’ll always be here as long as I keep breathing

Michael

Colin you did not get far enough into Elden Ring to understand why people love it. You beat the second boss and stopped before the game actually opens up and “becomes” Elder Ring

Walk Forward Cutscene

There is absolutely a western AAA output problem. Colin’s denial is so out of touch

Mr. Scott If You're Nasty

Final Fantasy 16 being better than Expedition 33 is a wild take LoL. One I think most wouldn't agree with.

Jason Rose

I agree with Colin and I think E33 is fantastic

2026-09-17 16:00 That’s honestly far enough to know, particularly with the context of FROM’s other games. There are an enough similarities there to know if it’s for you or not, the formula isn’t that much different.

While I think SF clears them easily, Netherrealm offerings also eclipse them sales wise.

Jason Rose

I would truly be disappointed if that was the case. Castlevania combat is known for being nimble and relatively quick, FROM systems don’t offer that for the most part. This all stems from the mood Bloodborne conveys, other than that there’s little Castlevania there

Screwed Mcfucked

Highest figure i saw for MK1 is 5-6 million, which would put in in line with SF6

Brandon Tyler

Loved ff16, still haven’t beat Clair obscur, really good game though but have slowed down after act 1. Both are amazing games

Joe McPartlin

I think both of those games do different things exceptionally well. I would give the edge to Expedition 33 if only for the gameplay but 16 is very close as an overall package when I consider the style, music and emotional impact both games had on me. I can see the argument for both being the "better game".

BigDumbStupidIdiot

Dragon Age having breast removal scars isn't dumb because it's woke; it's dumb because it's bad world building. There are all kinds of crazy magic in that world but none to change your physical appearance? If they wanted to make a metaphor about hatred towards trans people, they could have made a chunk of the NPCs hostile towards the player if they change their physical appearance at all. BioWare's writers are garbage.

NeO JD

Shout out to Chris S for asking the same question I asked but expounding on it. 😄

Gareth H

Loved this episode, so many things I had answered that I’d been wondering myself. Hope you do another soon

Aaron Barstow

I wish Colin would do an entire podcast with his southern voice, and not acknowledge that he was using his southern voice

Jason Rose

Some of the previous MK offerings like X and 11 are well over 10 million, Injustice 1 was about 5 million as well. It’s sad to say but Netherrealm fighting games out perform Capcoms at this point and have for awhile

Screwed Mcfucked

It's a shame that MK1 hasn't found the success of it's predecessors yet, I quite enjoyed MKX/11. Kinda weird to see it and SF6 neck and neck. I guess it makes sense that MK/Injustice would sell more than street fighter due to its more casual appeal with licensed characters and the universal appeal of extreme violence.

Cloud

I feel like both Sekiro and Armored Core have those nimble and quick combat systems I would be confident in them if they were to make a Castlevania game (not that I actually want them to)

Bailey Callis

I agree with Colin, but who cares, both games are sublime

Bailey Callis

Colin spitting big facts on the double standard with political messaging in games

Notorious Meat Leaker

In no world do I think having the option for your custom character to have breast removal scars is an issue. But if you have that option, and not the option for galactic knockers, then it *is* demonstrably catering to one demographic at the expense of another. Why noth both?

BigDumbStupidIdiot

The cosmetic option for breast removal scars in a game with a custom character is very unoffensive BUT why would you need cosmetic surgery in a world with magic and shit?

Ahlickaloo

It’s dumb for both reasons

Ahlickaloo

At least 3rd party is pulling its weight

Ahlickaloo

They could pull it off, but do they desire to make it?

DeliveryBoy.357

This community is definitely the most autistic

ThreeEyedCyclops

I could not disagree more about Sony making a fighting game with their characters.
