Colin + Lock is diabolical I'm already heavily exhaling within the first 10 minutes

Tom G

Wow! With all the streams this week + Colin and Lock on Summon Sign…could this be the greatest week of content in LSM history? It certainly feels like it’s shaping up to be.

TheWubbz

As a person who will never have children so I don’t have a horse in this race… you drop off children earlier than 9-5 so you can get to your 9-5

Jacob

Mina the Hollower is becoming one of my favorite games of the year. It didn’t click at first, but once the world opens up there are so many secrets and surprises to uncover and the game is consistently surprising and rewarding. If you find the game too hard, once you get a couple hours in with some upgrades, the curve smooths out a lot! If you liked Hollow Knight or similar games for the sense of discovery, this is a must play. It’s delightful.

The Corn Rocket

Anybody saying First Light is woke are out of their minds.

Now we need a Goldmember game

Joe B

Idk what Colin is even talking about. The outrage was due them putting the logos in after Asha and Matt made that decision and the outrage is what made Asha respond to say she heard people for future shows. It had nothing to do with throwing Matt under the bus.

C

I love it too, beat the first “dungeon” yesterday 🪦💀…. But this game is kicking my absolute arse and laughing in my face whilst doing it! Feel like hitboxes aren’t perfect, but maybe that’s the aim?

Risen

I had mice bust in my garage 4 years back. Unfortunately you gotta eliminate them. Set snap traps with peanut butter on the lever and wear an N95 out there. I'm an animal lover but courting them away is probably going to lead to having an infestation. Once they get fat and happy in a nice garage, they ain't leavin. And exclude.

NinjaDC

Even as a Kickstarter backer, I found myself surprised at how addictive the game gets once you get in the flow state. Its opening is rough as it has less tutorials than a From Soft Game. But once you are past that, it is phenomenal. A beautiful mixture of Zelda and Bloodborne.

Jacob

Some of the deaths I can't help but laugh at the game. Sometimes the game knows exactly how to fuck you over and it's pretty funny.

Bogey

To be fair to TimDog, that dudes been consistent about exclusives from the start. No deleted tweets. Dude went full scorched earth on Xbox when the “just 4 games” thing happened and sorta lost his mind lmao

LongJohnSivers#1Fan

Witcher 3 is only 9.99 right now. I'm really considering giving it a look for the first time. My only hesitation is that it will feel old and be frustrating to play. The people who played it in 2015 will have nostalgia, but did anyone here play it for the first time in the past few years?

Caleb Peacock

It’s $10 bro. The game is overrated af but it’s $10 just buy it lmao. You’re acting like you make a dollar an hour and in crippling debt

LongJohnSivers#1Fan

This shouldn't even have to be clarified, but I wasn't asking because I was concerned about the cost. I brought up the low cost of 10.00 as to say- price isn't a factor now. It takes a lot of time to get into a game that large. It can take hours to know what the gameplay loop really is. Is it worth the time.

Carlos Hernandez

I finished Pragmata in 11 hours with mostly everything upgrade lol

C

Colin did you not just contradict yourself with “take your time with games” considering you just said, and I paraphrase, “I don’t want to spend that long in Mina”

They Now Call Me UNC.

CD Projekt Red is basically the new Bethesda, with their own Fallout and Elder Scrolls.

Kasual7

I genuinely don't think anyone is saying that, if anything they are praising the female npc in there.

They Now Call Me UNC.

Yes it’s worth it. Now because we gave you this advice, you owe the audience a review in your next write-in.

They Now Call Me UNC.

So every time the audience is upset they need to change course? Is the audience the CEO? They were the ones who championed the ABK deal…

Joe B

I dont care what they do but if their serious about selling the Xbox brand, they cant promote their games with other platforms names in their own show. Nobody else does that.

NinjaDC

I can’t wait to hear Colin & Brad’s updated thoughts on Mina in the future. The first 2-4 hours are the roughest in the game. Past that is where the flow state hits. And I really hope Colin pays attention to one of the two new weapons in the weapon shop.

Captain Falcon

I love when Colin drags xbox through the mud, it's music to my ears. That was a great rant

I played it for the first time this month , it looks better than most current games , try it

Gal Sharpton

I literally get in my car at 7:40 AM to go to work And it’s pretty obvious why we said our children to school early because unlike Colin most of us work at a normal time.

Craig Carter

What is the name of the recommended game from the audience? I'm trying to look it up and I don't know if I'm spelling it wrong or what lol.

Mama Micah

I believe it is "Toree 2." I did also find "Toree Saturn" which is mentioned in the write-in so I think that's the correct one. -Micah

Jordan Falduto

This lineup... it's something, man. Colin let's it show when he is genuinely impressed with something and he does it a lot here. Elite talent with elite-level of game experiences. I wouldn't mind if this was the lineup for that Friday show...

Jacob Lesperance

Increased Co2 is great for plants and terrible for harvests. Makes food more starchy and less nutrient dense.

Lil Jimmy420

FF14 is a good time I’ve been playing all week, still on a realm reborn been playing on and off for about 2 years now

SteveBoxTM

There are some (very small) arguments to be made. But I agree its not a dragon age veilguard by any stretch of the imagination.

SteveBoxTM

As someone who has played it many times I'll give you my honest pros and cons. It's a game with an amazing story and kind of janky gameplay that still works pretty well if you are viewing the game as a full package. The writing is really good and has multiple meaningful choices that affect the ending, and endings of certain side quests. It is still worth playing in 2026, it still beats a lot of AAA offerings and if you are playing the next gen version it certainly looks a lot better than it did at launch. If you are into fantasy in general it is a must play.

Envydiel

It's just standard internet fare at this point. Every piece of media that releases from now on will have some people saying it's woke and other people saying it's homophobic or racist based on their own personal metrics. You can argue all day either way about anything in this post truth world because you can just adjust the definition of words on a whim.

Save The Game Media

I feel the opposite of Colin. Everyone is always overstating how long games are. I 100% every area in Pragmata and beat it in 13 hours. How Long to Beat is useless for me - I’m always way quicker

Deemac

It makes Asha look incredibly weak if she's constantly bowing down to the parasocial dweebs online. Phil did it for years, Asha had a chance to come in and put her own stamp on things and make that weird relationship a thing of the past - but once the "Hear you" tweet came out, it was clear that Xbox had learned nothing in that regard

Joe B

You build an audience starting at the base level. The logo thing isnt the parasocial dweebs. I play on Steam and even I think its weird they put logos for other platforms in their own showcase. Again, nobody does it and reacting to negative feedback isnt bowing down to the internet losers. Its taking criticism and adapting.

Matt Wiles

Locke is the best reviewer of a game I’ve come across in a long time. SkillUp is also great, but I’ve been gaming 40 years and hopefully have some taste by now. Get Locke doing more.

Pan Ic

Colins weekly xbox rant is becoming the same tune as "when I was at IGN.."

Lockmort

That's the nicest compliment I've ever gotten. It made my day. Thank you so much Matt, I really appreciate it. - Lock
