An episode that was intended to break up the seriousness of recent industry news turns into something far weightier than initially expected. Let's just leave it there.

Matty better delete his Patreon Threads lol. But in all seriousness, Lock just did a legit interview of Colin. Tons of insight here, particularly with Kinda Funny

Love this

If xbox (all lowercase) ever goes away I think you just change the name of the show to "Defining Duke: An Ex-xbox Podcast" and keep it rolling

Toretto

I’m a simple man. I see Lock, I watch/listen.

SlickMick

I am so thankful for this network. So much negativity going around the industry we love. But blocking out some of the noise with episodes like this and the true golden age of game releases we continue to be in. Thank you everyone for making this network so good

Lock is just the best

Colin talking about concerts and using his phone. I saw Boys Like Girls at a free show on Fremont St. in Vegas.. they told everyone to get their phone outs and film… and they played through the first chorus of Great Escape, then stopped the song and told everyone to put them away, no more phones, then restarted the song again from the beginning. lol… was a good memory and a fun way to handle it.

Even after listening to a lot of episodes, I’m still amazed at how many stories Colin has, and how gifted he is at telling him. If he wrote a book one day about his life, I would totally buy it.

Stewy108

Really entertained by the idea of Colin personally visiting each LSM contributor in their space and capturing a day in the life of said contributor in dedication of the 10th anniversary. While certainltly laborious, could be extremely fruitful to listeners who ingest and consume their preferred podcast on a daily basis. While seemingly redundant and routine, some of these podcasts elevate people's lives in significant ways.

Top 5 Plus episode ever?

Caleb Greer

This episode rules. I’ve said it before: Lock is so good at follow-up questions and conversation. Stone-cold natural.

This was a great episode. Always love hearing from Lockmort. I really like Lockmorts idea. I liked it when he mentioned it in summon sign too. Having two people play a game the other suggests and once a month getting to talk about the would be fantastic. Plus it goes with the spirit of the shows where you don’t feel like you just need to be playing the most recent thing all the time. I always wondered how Lockmort felt about relationships. I’ve had probably like 6 or 7 relationships. The two longest were 5 years and I was engaged in that one and the next longest was 3 years, which ended horribly. But that being said, having some not great medical issues and no really close people anymore around me besides my mom, I really do not want to end up alone. It’s my greatest fear, even beyond death itself. I really do relate with Colin though as well. I can be with someone I care about and never get tired of them even if I’m around them 24 hours a day.

Holy shit. Lock’s ability to ask the right questions and get the most out of an interview is amazing. Colin, I think you got some magic cooking here.

Colin please take that break. It bums me out to hear you're feeling spent. 99% of us know you're a human, not a robot, we'll keep our subs.

I’d be down for that LOST rewatch Lock. Hell, spin-off a new media show with Lock monthly. Make the man work Colin!

Bleedingedgeofpoo

Colin, I understand your viewpoint and why you choose to defend women in bad situations, and of ccurse it is a valid cause to champion. However, I was on the verge of tears feeling completely overlooked until Lock started talking about his friend in an abusive relationship. It happens to everyone, not just women, in every way it can. Verbally, sexually, physically, emotionally. Thank you both for having this conversation.

instant classic

This has been my favourite episode in years . I’d happily double even triple my subscription just to have a Lock and Moriarty once per month ! Laughed so much and even felt things ! Real life things . Thanks guys Lock never change

Colin I can say for myself I will not leave or cancel my Patreon if you leave for a month. Do it! I work in an industry where I was a grunt for 9 years with no vacation time and I’m now a manager and have 4 paid weeks off a year - I always feel guilty taking time off but it’s so important. Leaving the out of office email on and ignoring work gets easier - trust me.

Dominick

This was a great episode, more lockmort!

Lock KILLED ME - with the “my life went in reverse” bit LOL

Lock: “…Well this turned out to be a happy show right?” Dude so funny hahaha. I can say I come from a broken divorced family and this was a good episode. Real.

Envydiel

Great episode. I think a programming review is needed for the future, the platform specific shows are probably becoming less relevant since most people either play across many systems, or most of the news is across all the platforms.

A very special boy

Colins just gotta go chill in Spain for a month. Nuthin better.

Alan

Colin, you gotta watch The Leftovers if you haven’t

Ryan

I would pay the highest tier patreon membership for a no holds barred, truly candid, unrestricted episode on how badly Tim Gettys obviously sucks hahaha

I know this is more or less one of those low effort episodes, but I really like the "interview" nature of Lock with Colin. Really powerful episode. Nice selection of topics that seemed to just flow naturally from one to another, despite "not knowing how we got on this topic." Lock in general is always great on these, but having him almost playing the subtle lead for Colin to talk really worked well. I know there have been pushed to have Lock be a larger part of LSM, but GD... Love him on the network.

TheWubbz

I’m about to listen to this, but Lock has quickly become my favorite on this network. A gem of a human being

Devon!

Excellent episode ❤️

Bobby Condon

Turned into a Colin therapy session, I can relate man

TheWubbz

Colin do the documentary. You’ll regret not capturing this stuff down the road even just for yourself and friends and family to look back at

Drew Lee

What an episode. As someone who just left a miserable work place on my terms, this hit hard.

Francis

Very solid episode. Thoroughly enjoyed hearing y'all talk off the cuff. Do it again. Thanks Colin and Lock.

Do you like fish sticks?

A bit late of a comment but holy crap do I relate to Colin when it comes to my parents divorce and childhood afterwards. This was an incredible episode. I love you guys. Thanks for everything
