I’m loving Zero Company! My Hawx sounds like Matthew McConeghy

Asha Shwarma’s Karma

Question for anyone: for Wolverine, in terms of linearity and simplicity, how does this compare with Hellblade 1?

Antonio Rodriguez

I haven't played Wolverine but I love Hellblade 1. Hellblade at least has some puzzles and exploration lol

Captain Falcon

Damn, Brad was on a rampage this episode, I love it!

ketsui

I like farts and even I think this game stinks!

Addison117

Lock has such an infectious laugh.

BigDumbStupidIdiot

Brad saying Wolverine is for Ball and Gun gamers is brutal

Jacob Lesperance

I canceled my Wolverine pre order. That being said in terms of Sonys first party SP this is a rare miss. So rare that people are acting like a 77 on metacritic is 35, lol.

Addison117

I agree with Matty on the kojima stuff. I loved keeper but double fine had nearly 10 years to get brutal legend 2 greenlit when they had Microsoft behind them but instead they made a lighthouse game and whatever the hell kiln was supposed to be, now they are asking us for the money to play around with whatever they are going to make.

Tommy the sniper

If you three had your own show every week, i wouldn’t miss a beat. Such great conversations and chemistry. Fantastic show guys.

Ethan Barcelos

I'd be curious to see how Lock feels about Midnight Suns. When you look past the Marvel IP, the tactics gameplay is incredible!

LordScottrick

“People didn’t like playing as MJ, so we’re not going to do Jean Grey gameplay” is dumb if true. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t like playing as MJ either, but Jean Grey can be an actual comics accurate powerhouse. At the very least it could be similar to playing Control where you’re floating and flying around and using telekinesis to throw stuff at dudes, throw dudes at stuff, or throw dudes at each other.

Michael Welter

Guys where did Matty go at the end? Just left us hanging?!

DeucesBruh

Matty needs to hit up Florence next year. Ezios home town.

zepplinmike

I can’t get over that thing where they intentionally pitched weird ideas to test Microsoft, and then put that in their documentary. Really impacts how I see them as a company. They’re lucky to they got to leave basically for free with all their games and IP after that embarrassing nonsense.

NinjaDC

I wonder if the far off Blizzcon announcements like StarCraft was a move from Microsoft Gaming/Xbox to increase the company’s value for a potential sale in the future. Microsoft has long been rumored to be interested in selling Xbox and their gaming division. Having a StarCraft in the works definitely adds value.

CptnCaptain

Brad got sensitive about the illiteracy comment lmao based off of how he reads questions I definitely would have called on him in popcorn reading

Jacob Lesperance

I'm telling you guys right now, Microsoft is showing all this stuff that is 5+ years away because they are trying to beef up the portfolio to sell off divisions or the entire Xbox division. Not gonna argue about it, lol. Just a wait and you'll see. I also agree with Mattys criticism of Sony, he's just the wrong messenger, lol. I've watched Xbox and Bethesda urinate in his mouth for 10 years, and yes he offered criticism while at the same time with any token gesture is right back on the hype train.

Patrick Pratt

“All that kind of stuff.” Take a shot!

Izzy Smalls

I guess there are a lot of "ball and gun" gamers because the response ive seen online has been very positive and it has a 4.8/5 on the PS store. A lot of you "real gamers" need to get over yourselves because Wolverine is fun af. Its a good thing i wasnt like many cornballs out there " i CaNcEled mY PrEOrDer bEcAuSe SkiLl uPs review" smh

Bob ISIS Toyota

I’m just here to say, thank you Brad for not cutting that section of sort it out/keep it up. I laughed out loud

PeptoiZall

Brad was unhinged on this episode and it was glorious

Jacob Lesperance

I'm one of those who canceled because of reviews. Im sure rhe game is fine, but I'm just not interested in the handholding. Its a rated R game. I'll get to it, just not right away now. So much out. I'm sure it's super fun, but I'd rather get to Dawn Walker and Control 2. Only so much time and a lot of competition.

NeO JD

I’d say more linear than Hellblade 1 but also more fun. I didn’t finish Hellblade 1 despite really liking how it started. But I’m also a Marvel fan and never agreed with the whole “Marvel MCU writing” most people cite. If anybody’s on the fence, I’d tell them to wait. Don’t think this is one most people will replay. And seems to be on the shorter side.

Asha Shwarma’s Karma

Thanks for that. I enjoyed playing through Hellblade 1 and South of Midnight, so I don’t mind shorter, linear experiences. Cheers.

Snowbound

Well, yeah dude. There are a lot of ball and gun gamers, kinda why the term is synonymous with "casual". Wolverine does look fun but if there's little depth and the story is just average, what exactly are we paying full price for? Production quality alone isn't enough.

BigDumbStupidIdiot

Izzy, I think Wolverine being popular is the same as a Netflix show being popular. It's serviceable enough to keep you mostly entertained

Andrew Grishaw

I really really wanna know who brad accidentally killed..

Save The Game Media

I beat it - it’s a fucking mess of a game. First 3rd is decent then it gets worse and worse and refuses to end. The combat is alright but repetitive with some frustration due to bad camera angles and clunky movement My issue is it feels like 3 stories mashed together and by the end - it’s abundantly clear that Insomniac fundamentally don’t understand Wolverine or Jean and the direction it goes is terrible. Hopefully we never see these characters again. If they do XMen - set it in a different universe

Tom Hannay

I was going to let Lockmort's forelock tugging, American appeasing, European self-hate misinformation campaign against Paris early in the episode go, but his later tirade against European game devs was too much for me. There are literally hundreds of universities in Europe that offer game design degrees, and Abertay University in Scotland was literally the first university in the world to offer the degree in 1997. The game dev scene in Europe is very well respected, and certainly if you compare the AAA output of Europe and America in the last decade there's no question which has more prestige.

Mr. Scott If You're Nasty

I will say it's odd to hear in one breath Brad thought the scores would be a little lower and then in another sort of explain it like Sony has a target on their back. I mean I think the latter is true but it sounds like it got the benefit in the ratings department.

Cruz Ibarra

I've been waiting for Mr. Park Gene Park to be on an episode after the Wolverine drama and I want to hear what Gene has to say especially about everyone calling the scent trail in Wolverine "Jean's Fart Gas" due in part or possibly solely due to Mr. Park dubbing it that lol 😆 🤔
