Silent Hill: Townfall Review Discussion and Spoilercast | Sacred Symbols+, Episode 539

It's me, Colin! Please welcome Sacred Symbols co-host and LSM executive producer Dustin Furman to the show. Today, we go one-on-one to talk about the most recent Silent Hill title, the Screen Burn-developed and Konami-published Silent Hill: Townfall. Townfall takes place on a fictional island off the coast of Scotland in the mid-'90s, in a town called St. Amelia. Recently, an American energy company came in and revitalized the community, but doing so came at a major cost. Now, victims are left to deal with the grisly repercussions. We get into the nitty-gritty of the story, as well as the gameplay and much more. And -- perhaps to your delight! -- we don't quite agree on the overall quality of the game, which should make for interesting listening. Please enjoy.

good game. didnt love the story or the unkillable stalker. final puzzl and a secret ending puzzle were BS. i ran thru 2 more playthroughs and got the hard ending either on luck or its not as bad as it sounds. sold my PHYSICAL copy for $40. happy with it all, but i will never have desire to play this mess again.

Went ahead and listened even though I haven't played. I really liked SH2 Remake, but not a fan of SHF. I don't think I'd like this one either, but I may give it a go if it's ever available on PS Plus.

Hated it. Should have just put it down, honestly, but pushed through.
