It’s time for another call-in! Colin and Chris have each had their own, so I (Dustin) am up to bat. Beware though, weebish questions abound! Let’s discuss what the future of PlayStation Stars could look like. What should Nintendo do next after the Switch? What is the endgame of video game collections? What show can you suggest to get your significant other into anime? This was a fun time, so hit play!

Note: The audio quality on the first call is a bit rough, but improves greatly after. <3

I may have overstated it. It's a small town bowling alley with an arcade, that mostly has carnival-like games. She and I did have a blast playing The Jurassic Park shooter though!

This call-in episode was legit dude. Great job!

Another good anime for the ladies is Kids on the Slope. Has some romance, friendship the most accurate instrument playing animation ever and jazz music.

I really have a love/hate relationships with all of the retro collecting talk. On one hand, I find it super interesting. But on the other, knowing my personality I just know I cannot get into it because I just won't fucking stop (I haven't gotten into collecting vinyl records for the same reason lol) and I don't think my wife world appreciate more useless nerd shit in the house lol.

This ep warmed by heart. What a pleasant bunch of people

Really good episode. Always great to have you guys interact with us and talk one on one. As far as the switch 2 question I believe it absolutely must do 60fps. I don't care what resolution the game is at but I believe sub 30fps won't cut it when you've got the ps5 and series x doing high fidelity 60-120fps fast load times and tons of other features

I’d highly recommend Spy X Family for a first time anime watcher. It’s very safe and currently airing, so could be a super good gateway show.

Demon Slayer is what got my fairly normie girlfriend into anime. JJK, Spy x Family, and Death Note are also good options in my experience.
