Based on your research, who was less wrong? Taha or Sabrina? Lotion or burger?

Simon Law

Also, has anyone tried lotion + burger?

Z

what I do for chapped lips is to apply some CeraVe- it's easy to apply, doesn't taste awful, and works. so then my question: why did the video not address trying normal skin moisturizers? Taha pointed it out, and then it wasn't expanded on with your testing It's also important to remember that the best cure for chapped lips is to prevent them in the first place, so prevent the air from stealing that moisture once you've got it, preventing is easier than repairing

i really enjoyed this video! perhaps one of my favs, at least in how this is so relevant to me LOL. in some aip videos, you guys will test out your question before knowing all the information/speaking to an expert. i really enjoy this aspect of your videos, but i also wonder, do ya'll consider adding an additional act to the video to document testing your question after the expert knowledge? (for example, finding other lip balms to try out knowing now that you need to look out for the 3 overarching ingredient categories; or, with the running video, making your own shoe with better knowledge of your needs) also, with the conversation that three of yall had at the beginning of the video (which was hilarious btw), i wonder what the other two think of melissa's findings? does taha still use his normal moisturizer for his lips? does sabrina still literally just hydrate and hamburger and call it a day?

1. would you recommend studying economics? 2. do you know any good youtube competition? 3. How long after the film is released do you record the after show? 4. what determines who reads the questions?

Richard Tang

Did the lip balms with fragrance worsen your skin issues?

Lyndsey L. Werner

I knew Britex would be the one that pulled through! But can I ask if you know why regular lipstick dry out lips? (Is this covered in the interviews? It could just be a me problem but it feels like even high end lipstick is really distracting and dry?) Also, how do you pick/meet the experts for your videos? Do you just find people and email them?

Hope

From an aesthetics standpoint, which balm was your favorite? Not necessarily long lasting or moisturizing, but that you thought looked the nicest? Second question, I don’t recall you saying anything about dyes impacting a lip balm’s potential moisturizing ability. Did you find anything regarding a tinted lip balm’s effectiveness vs untinted? Also, you keep going on about how the normal bullet chapstick is $2; we all know it’s free when you steal it from your parents XD

Hope

Oh I second this idea - I thought that would have been awesome for the running shoe video, but this one would’ve also been great for that. Sabrina’s gone back to the drawing board after the expert interviews before (the parkour video comes to mind). Question for AIP - was there a reason this style wasn’t used for either of these videos?

Edmund Teck

Taha's method is really something, is it really safe to apply mosturizer on the lips?

Elliot Cosco

I wish you had also tested bigger lip care brands instead of makeup like Vasaline or Aquaphor. I feel like it would be better if someone else picked out the balms and you had to test them without knowledge of them. Could help remove potential response bias

Elliot Cosco

I also think there might be something to be said when it comes to thinking a product is gross simply because it's cheaper. Vasaline, Aquaphor, and Blistex are well known when it comes to moisturizing and lip care, and they're all cheap, unlike the other products more geared towards the insanely inflated makeup and skincare departments

Yanaira

Going into the video I was wondering if Melissa was going to end up trying to make her own lip balm similar to the candle video. Would you consider this as a kind of follow up video?

Ria Upreti

melissa this is so off topic to the video but your leather shoulder bag is so gorgeous where is it from 😭

lowkey upon thinking abt my question more, the answer may just simply be a logistical thing. asking for an extra act is more perhaps more time & more effort that is feasible for every video lol. if that is the answer, i feel that it's no big. but it'd be cool for like some longer documentary-ish videos that aip might pursue in the future maybe ??
