We took a chance and did this album... what an absolute trip!

Though we weren't coming off LSD, we found this still was a great work of improv art at its finest! SO curious to know your thoughts about it and any info you may have for us, as we know there must be lots of trivia behind this one!

THANK YOU ALL for your patience and support and for understand as we're currently going through some rough patches.

We love and appreciate you always, Lex, Nick & Marley

This album is actually what survived from the abandoned "Smile" concept album that drove Brian Wilson to a complete mental breakdown. You need to watch the 2004 documentary "Beautiful Dreamer: Brian Wilson and the Story of Smile", which chronicles the original sessions, his collapse, and eventual recovery and return to complete the work decades later to perform it live.

I had the Good vibrations record when I was a 4th grader and we loved it but the rest of the album which I did not have but after listening here I do not like as much- it is not Pet Sounds and I applaud their explorations and experiments but this Smiley Smile did not make me smile much

You should definitely listen to the 'final'version of Smile that Brian Wilson released in 2004, which was the album he was trying to create when he had his breakdown. We saw him premiere it live in London in February 2004 and it was magical!

I used to listen to the Beach Boys quite a bit when I was a kid. This album is very good. The only song I know because it was one of their big hits is "Good Vibrations" but the songs are typical great Beach Boy songs.

What an incredible album — truly one of my favourites. I’m really glad I got to listen to it.❤️
