Hi Familia!

First off, thank you for your support and interest in our channel; it truly means so much to us!

Just wanted to touch base regarding the opportunity to have us listen to a song of your choice by being a part of La Familia is REAL! 

We will be waiting until the end of the month (11/30) to close the opportunity of being selected, and then we will make a video (possibly a live - suggestions welcome) where we will be selecting a name and reacting to that song next month. Since it's the first month doing this, everyone here is participating! 

Going forward, the winner will not participate in next month's drawing but will again be eligible the following month! These measures, like everything, are a starting point and are not written in stone and are simply in place to make sure all is as fair as possible and to try to give everyone a chance!

Hi Nick and Lex, I am really enjoying your reactions. Especially your newfound love and obsession with Steely Dan. They have been my favorite band since the 70's, and watching your reactions to their body of work brings back the joy of discovery to me! I literally wore out the grooves in my AJA LP back then. The drawing sounds so fun! Is there anything we have to do?

I own a copy of AJA myself. Up until '77 Pretzel Logic was my tops. But as soon as I heard the opening track Black Cow I new I was in for a ride. AJA currently remains my top Steely Dan masterpiece.

Had to think of a request I know you're gonna love. The band is called James Gang and a great track to start you off with would be "Tend my Garden/Garden Gate". Joe Walsh was part of the group before heading to "Eagles". This band puts out some dirty funk with bassist Dale Peters , nasty riffs with Joe Walsh, and wicked paradiddles by drummer Jim Fox. James Gang Rides Again album will invigorate your soul.
