Hi everyone!

We hope you enjoy re-listening to this with us as much as we did in making this! We've been wanting to share this with you for a long time and now we decided to go for it!

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS, this album still holds up (or even better) than the first time we heard it! Do you remember your first time? Tell us about it!

With love and appreciation always,

Nick, Lex & Marley

Nick, there are people on YouTube reacting to hearing this the first time. You might check them out. Or maybe you'll "never seem to find the time."

The little, quiet rise in tone(?) at the very end of GGITS is original, not Steven Wilson. I love that quiet detail. Also, that's the end of the vinyl record side, so it ends so similar to the way it began. It kind of bugs me how many people don't listen to the little details in Pink Floyd's music. There are so many gems.

this weekend! I am excited for this!

So many of these foundational records were gifts from older family members, and in my case, older friends sharing amazing art, experiences and exploration. I'm so happy to listen again with friends. Cheers ! ✌️❤️🪕

Shucks I’m not gonna have time to watch this for a few days. I can’t wait to hear it with you. Anticipation is a good thing. 👍👍👍

just got done watching this. thanks so much for doing this. I loved this album so much! used to listen to this album over and over again in my late teens! I have not heard it in quite a long time. listening to it again, with good headphones with you guys really was special. The instruments sound so amazing and clean from start to finish ! there are so many sounds and little sections that I dont think I have ever heard before!

you're right, heard that when I was 15...and, having worked during my holidays I could afford a Hi Fi gear, and it was the first album I bought for the occasion when the thing was operational for the first time...I will never forget that moment...and yes, hearing it in your compagny is great because it's still so fresh, and that friendly feeling to listen to music with someone. Thanks a lot.

Thank you Nick and Alexia, for allowing us into your home to listen to this classic album! You're right, Patreon does feel more intimate and we can share stories and feelings about the album we are listening to. I remember quite vividly going to parties on a Saturday night and the time would eventually come when everyone would slow down, find somewhere to sit and 'Dark Side...' would be on the turntable and send us all into our own worlds of thought and dreams. What a time it was for music. It certainly does mature like fine wine. May I have a refill please? Lovely reaction xxx

I agree with Nick that the four together - it is a shame. Because roger, for me made them edgy. The others were great and the division bell was a very good album but what Roger brought, I think was great lyrics. Hard hitting. A rawness that was hard to replace. That said, when you get into politics and that side of things it can be difficult because it's overbearing but that's what makes their best albums or songs exceptional. The level of detail, is great. I do think Roger has some good music though. The amused to death concert was very good.
