Hi to all!

Lex chose this album for Nick to listen to and to be able to share with all of you. This is the  proggiest album according to Prog Archives, so let's see what you old school Prog Heads think!

Nick wasn't thrilled with the entire album, but you'll have to see if you agree!

Thank you all for your support on here and so glad to be able to share our picks once in a while as well!

Love always,

Lex, Nick & Marley

I’m off to bed but will listen and watch during my commute tomorrow. Should be fun 🤩

JK

Had to reply as soon as I heard you’re planning to do Two Against Nature! Woo hoo! And Van Halen too! Can’t wait! And as the resident Talking Heads freak, I should tell you that Radiohead took their name from the Talking Heads song Radio Head, from the True Stories album. Now on to the listen! Thank you for this! P.S. The 90’s is not new - that’s 30 years ago!

Well I’ll be a son of a biscuit eater I saw JK’s comment about the Great NicknLex reacting to 2Against Nature and now I’ve got to at least start the reaction tonight and last as long as I possibly can. Check out those nice T shirts your wearing. Walter and Joni.

Hey JK I was all set to crash and go to bed but you commented on them mentioning a future reaction to 2Against Nature, so I had to start this Radiohead reaction tonight. I’m 2 songs in and loving it and wide awake…. For now. 😱

Lex , very cool pick here. I know that most of your faithful audience is more into 70's music. As you know I am on outlier from that audience. I love Radiohead! This album came out the year I graduated from High School and I absolutely loved this cd so much. I played it all the time that year. It is falls between a good to great album and mostly holds up today. After hearing it just now, I will have to agree with Nick that Electioneering does not really work with the rest of the songs. I do not remember feeling that way back when it came out. It reminds me of an Oasis song but a bad Oasis. very noisy and too distorted for sure. I like most Radiohead's albums. Oddly my favorite album is Hail to the thief! Most people did not really like this one! to me its great! Lex ,if you have not heard it. I suggest you give it a listen! I think you would get it!!! love you both! take care!

also, I cannot wait until you to 2 against nature!!!!!

First things first, Congrats on 78k and really cool t shirt, Lex. First time hearing this. Not real familiar with RH. Couple I didn't care for but overall pretty good. thanks for doing.

I have never been a big Radiohead fan, but I've always felt I needed to hear OK Computer from start to finish to try and understand why it's held in such high regard. Well, I liked it far more than I expected to. It certainly is very progressive and that surprised me as Thom Yorke has always railed against the 'prog' label being attached to this album. Thanks guys, I can now listen to it again and delve deeper into the music.

The climax to Paranoid Android sounds like R2-D2 malfunctioning, in the most beautiful way. Lol. The music video you remember was done by Swedish cartoonist Magnus Carlsson, who also animated the video for Moby's 'Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad' around the same time. Some music critic's compared Paranoid Android to The Beatles' 'Happiness Is A Warm Gun.' Definitely quite similar. Nick thinks the album's too long, but you're stopping and starting and talking for a large portion of the reaction. As Lex put it, this album works as a continual play. Also, I loved the irony of Nick loving 'No Suprises' (a song about radio-friendly pop music) after criticising the weirdness of 'Climbing The Walls.' Lol. OK Computer is a landmark for many people. I myself graduated high school the year if was released. Lots of memories. Lovely reaction, guys :)

I knew Paranoid Android, Karma Police and Creep from Radiohead period. I have listen to Paranoid Android sooooo many times, it was on Big Shiny Tunes 2. the concept of Big Shiny Tunes is that they would put the most appreciated rock song by Canadians. It's such a great compilation. Nick, stop being a hater! 🤣
