This got blocked with 21 other marathons. Please be mindful about putting too many songs by UMG in the video. I was lucky since 19 of those marathons had a Sony or WMG song included ( Usually my bonus tracks)

So nice to hear Nina with really good audio. You get all her nuance.

Off topic but I have one extra ticket to Peter Gabriel on Oct. 16. Know anyone who needs it?

Dave

Where?

Dave

Been mindful and changed things up a few times but UMG has so much. All Motown, almost all jazz from 60 and 70's and beyond. Had another jazz planned but was all UMG, so I went looking for a WMG jazz artists, not many. Why block on YT and then allow on Patreon?

NicknLex

I know. Seems like UMG owns all music on the planet :(

Michael Gray

Great song choices. Love the Beatles but all these artists are awesome.

Video is back on YouTube but the Beatles song was unfortunately cut out by YouTube:(

I wish you had shown the video that goes along with "HERE COMES THE SUN" it's really nice. MORE BEATLES reactions please. I was lucky enough to be alive when the Beatles were active. We here in the U.S. only had them for 6 years as they didn't hit here until Late December '63 but took off in January 1964, I was 17 in 1964 and 23 in 1970 when they broke up. It was an incredible time and I am so thankful I was old enough to really appreciate it. I saw them in concert twice in Cleveland in Sept '64 and again in August '66. Their music is the soundtrack of my life and helped me get through some painful periods in my life. I can't imagine my life without the Beatles. Listening to Johnny Nash's 1972 "I Can See Clearly Now" brings back memories of my trip back to England to visit my husband of 1 year (at the time) to visit his family in Liverpool. That song came out while we were there for 5 weeks, and it was being played EVERYWHERE, so it makes me think of that wonderful time in England summer of 1972. That song by Kaz Hawkins was amazing, it had me in tears. My husband eventually became an alcoholic to beer. He couldn't kick it, and it contributed to his death eventually, (he was 67 when he passed) so this song made me think of him. I had never heard it before. I need to explore more of her music, what an incredible voice! THANK YOU for this great marathon!

I really liked this marathon. I know most of the songs. I have some Dave Matthews Band suggestions you would like. "Too Much", "So Much to Say" and "Crash Into Me" are all really good. It's a good start, anyway.🙂

Yeah man the whole Moondance album is a masterpiece!
