----Notes on the contents of this pack:1-NYC-Police Station is where you can easily find Lt. Martin Pool, who is supposed to be an ally. But it's also where you might run into some trouble with Capt. Walter Robson, the corrupt head of the NYC Criminal Investigation Division. The map comes from [109-Arkham Police Station].2-The Fat Maybelle's is a speakeasy often cited as the place where Mukunga M'Dari goes after work to recruit or track his next victims. No one dares to talk about him. But since everyone knows him, there is palpable tension in the air. The map is a remake of [092-A Harlem Speakeasy] adapted to the New York winter.3-The Cotton Club is a legendary Harlem venue celebrating jazz. It's probably one of the best places to scout locations and start following shady characters...4-M'Dari Home and M'Dari at Work are two locations mentioned in Chaosium's book as places where Mukunga M'Dari is frequently found. His job is not suspicious (he simply works on the docks), but this could be a trap set for our investigators if he feels he is being followed. His home is a little more suspicious, as there are some very questionable objects there.5-The JuJu House is one of the most iconic locations of the campaign. Run by old Silas N'Kwane, the shop sells all kinds of African curiosities. Of course, this is just a front to better hide what lies beneath... Events take on a whole new dimension when the investigators find themselves confronted by the Chakota. To play with this location, I created “tiles” for the trapdoor hidden under the GF's carpet, as well as for the Chakota's well.6-Although this is purely optional and depends entirely on how you introduced your PCs, I have added hotel rooms for your investigators. This can be useful for debriefing at the end of the day, or perhaps even for impromptu encounters...7-As we are at the end of the chapter, you will also find the NYC landing page, handouts, and tokens. The handouts in English are almost identical to those in the book, which are well done. I just prepared them for VTT. However, 3 documents have a slightly easier-to-read version. The handouts have been translated into French. Please note that I have dealt with the handouts concerning “the in-between” (the articles on the Carlyle Expedition and what you know about your friend J. Elias) and distributed them before the chapter - America, separately from the handouts that you will receive later throughout this chapter. You will also find tokens relating to the Carlyle Expedition, the NPCs in the chapter, cultists, and creatures.Regarding the Landing Page, wait until the end of the scene at the Hotel Chelsea before showing it, as it contains elements that could spoil this fabulous chapter intro...---In the next Highlight, I will present the first Highlight of the Chapter 2 - England.----Also:Read my post explaining the highlights here
