101-The Meeting Room (Patreon)

"It was, the professor stated, a very crude bas-relief of stone, comprising a hideous picture and some cryptic writing. And so far as he could tell, it was a rough parallel in all essential features of the bestial thing now lying before the meeting."-HP.Lovecraft

I am pleased to present "The Meeting Room"!A stack of files was spread out on the table, some of the names inscribed were known. We were part of a selection for an expedition, the location of which was still being kept secret. We were asked several questions, and our interlocutors seemed impressed by the number of countries we had crossed. A man with a greying beard, who had been discreet until now, stood up and switched on a projector. In a slightly blurred shot, a tall, dark mountain seemed to split the sky above a white desert. The man exclaimed:"-I think from now on we can say that you are part of the project... And we're going to do great things together!"
