Hi everyone,Here is a new concept I'd like to introduce on this Patreon: Highlights. This would alternate with generic map packs, when I'm working on a campaign. The objective is to increase the production of official CoC Campaign PacksThis should be effective within the next few weeks.---1/ Why?

There's a strong demand for official scenario and campaign maps. However, mapping a Great CoC Campaign takes an enormous amount of time - several months.I've been thinking a lot about how to improve the production time of a campaign pack.In fact, I have to release a pack of generic maps every week, and make a lot of maps on the side for this campaign.I therefore propose to create what I call highlights---2/ Understanding a generic Patreon map packMaking a map pack isn't just about making a map.You also have to :• create the many variations (weather, events, tokens, tiles...)• define the thumbnail• design the packaging (so that the map can be easily identified)• write moods• find writers' texts• create line-up• create the user manual• Communicate on social networks• (...)All this can take several days, on top of making the simple map that serves as my base. ---3/ What are Highlights?• The "Highlights" replaces a regular map pack.• It does, of course, contain maps, but these relate only to the current campaign.• It is not packaged (see /2).• It contains fewer variations, less different weather.• On the other hand  it contains more maps, because it keeps the actual production time but concentrates on different maps of a campaign.

---4/ The benefits• More different maps per week• Faster campaign release (Campaign management has been improved, and we should be able to release 3 campaigns per year instead of just one)• Highlights is only available to subscribers. It's not a pack. It won't be in webstore.• You are the first to see the campaign maps• It allows you to preview the current campaign, and prepare for it if you wish.• It allows you to react and give your opinion on a map, all the more so if you know the current campaign.• Maps can, of course, be used for anything other than the current campaign.---5/ Conditions• Highlights will only appear when I'm working on an official CoC book.• Generic packs will continue to be released, alternating with the highlights. I therefore imagine 2 highlights per month.• The specifications of each Highlight Map will of course be given (Cells / size), so that they can be used immediately.• Highlights are billed as generic packs• Apart from special cases, there will be no differentiation between subscriptions during highlights.• you'll be notified in advance when a campaign is announced. I'll give the highlights themes.• I can't say in advance the exact content of a highlight, because some maps take a long time to make, others only take a few hours.• You'll be able to take part in choosing the next campaign, via a poll on the Patreon. This will start when I'm halfway through production of the current campaign.• This does not remove the beta, which will still be accessible for 15 days at the end of the production of a chapter, or of the entire campaign.---Bear in mind that it's thanks to you that the Great CoC Campaigns can be mapped! Thank all of you for your support!---What do you think?Feel free to ask your questions here, or on the Discord Highlights channel.I'll get back to you as soon as I can.And...I'm going to make the official announcement of the campaign I'm currently working on.Have fun !Damien-Lovemaps(ps : this is a free post)

I like the idea of developing campaigns alternating with the regular generic releases. Good for people doing the campaigns, obviously, but hopefully the highlights will be useful in an of themselves even for everyone else. Seems like a reasonable compromise.

I'm well aware of that. This is particularly true for MoM, which has many maps located in Antarctica. But there are also a lot of city maps (NY) that can be used for a lot of guardians. I've also started to isolate the really interesting maps to make into generic packs for the greatest number. We'll see how it works out, but in 2-3 years' time, when most of the big campaigns are mapped, I think we'll all be happy with it. :)

Beyond the Mountains of Madness!! One of my favorite campaigns of all time, I can’t wait to see the full pack!

Some of the descriptions for the city of the elder things are pretty elaborate and confusing. I can’t wait to see your interpretation!

If you're doing maps for individual adventures, I'd love to have one for The Auction.
