Leon x GN!Reader

Words: 1,647
Contains: Blood, Comfort.

Sitting in the waiting room of the hospital it didn't look familiar to you now that you were starting to come out of shock and start looking around. Chris was currently standing up, one foot in the hallway to where Leon had been wheeled and his other foot on the carpet of the waiting room you were sat in. His arms crossed over his chest and a foot soon started to tap on the carpet, making a quiet thumping taking up sound in the silence of the hospital.

"Chris..? Why don't you come and sit down?" You ask patting the seat beside you, having moved to one of the more comfortable lounges against the wall.

Looking in your direction he exhales, letting his arms drop to his sides. Maybe standing around waiting wasn't the best thing for his worrying mind. Walking over towards you his boots heavy on the carpet, the other side of the lounge you were in sinks down with his weight.
"You're worried about him?" Your voice was soft and also full of worry.

Nodding Chris looks to you, seeing your clothes were still covered in what you assumed to be his blood. "I can see if there is a spare change of clothes for you? You're not an agent, but I'm sure they have plenty to spare."

You look down to your own clothes, you had been scratching at your hands, Leon's dry blood itchy on your skin. "Y-Yeah.. That would be appreciated, thanks."
Chris gives you a nod once again and then stands up, only just having sat down. You were super tired, your eyes feeling like they needed to close. At the same time when you would start to dose you felt you needed to be on high alert.

Watching Chris look left and right before heading right, you sink into the back of the lounge. "Agent?" You say quietly to yourself. Come to think of it, this place didn't really look like a hospital. Where you would expect all these different posters for heath, pregnancy, flu shots and other various ailments was nothing. Just stark white walls, there were 2 vending machines, one with snacks and one with drinks over against the wall to your left, and the water bubbler with white plastic cups to your right. You had seen no other people coming into the waiting room, or even seen anyone walking passed. Where were you?

After walking around the room a little to keep yourself awake, you stopped at the snacks behind the glass and search through, maybe you had some coins left in your pants you had forgotten about?
As you were frisking yourself Chris' footsteps were heard coming down the hallway once again. Rounding the corner he looks to the lounge before his eyes shift to you on the right, your hands currently on your butt.

"They had these, I think they are your size?" He holds out a t-shirt and tracksuit pants.

"Oh.. Thanks." You say walking over to him and taking the the clothing from his outstretched hand.
There was a moment of awkward silence, you holding the clothes to your chest and bouncing on your toes looking around. "Is there some toilets somewhere?"

"Oh, right.. Yeah." Chris steps backwards into the middle of the hall motioning with his hand. "There are some to the right just down the hall."

You nod and walk passed him, following his directions. The halls looked like a hospital, but it just didn't feel like one? You see the sign for the toilets as well as a sign for Labs, FOSHQ, whatever that stands for, Case Files and Elevators. You frown, Labs makes sense, Case Files didn't.

After changing in your new clothes you hadn't found any coins or notes in your pockets, darn.. your stomach was rumbling. Walking down back to the waiting room Chris was perched on the edge of the lounge, waiting for you to return. Standing once hearing you walk around the corner he walks over you you, holding out a packet of sea salt chips and a bottle of blue sports drink.
"I saw you standing over at the machine before, I imagine you're hungry?" He asked.

"Yeah, thanks. You didn't have to do that though." You were glad he did, you were so hungry, and the sports drink might help you stay awake a little longer.

"Do you mind if I take your clothes? The Labs are going to want to check out what you have on them."

"Oh.. Yeah, they are ruined anyway, so they're no good to me now." You hand them over and Chris starts to walk back down the hall. "Hey.. Um, Chris?" You call to him, stopping hi in his tracks as he turns to the side, looking back at you.
"Where are we? It's like a hospital, but not at the same time."

He gives a soft smile, you were observant. "You're in the Hospital wing of the DSO Facilities."

"And you said agent before. Is that what you and Leon are? Agents?"

Looking down to your blood covered clothes in his hands he nods, looking back up to you as his face softened. His mouth had a smile on it, but his eyes looked sad?
"Yeah... We are Agents." He waits to see if you had anything more to say, but when you turn to head back into the waiting room he took that as his queue to leave as well.

You sit in the couch once again, sinking into it as you opened the packet of chips. Pulling out a few at a time you munch away, making sure if you dropped anything you would clean it up with your mouth. You hadn't eaten in almost 15 hours, but with every single chip you ate your eyes were getting the better of you. Managing to finish the last chip in the packet you have a drink of the sports drink and place it to the side. You couldn't fight it anymore, you needed sleep, so that's what you did. snuggling back into the couch you rest your hands over your stomach and extend your legs. One ankle crossed over the other as you closed your eyes, falling asleep almost instantly.

Chris came back around 10 minutes later to find you fast asleep, the chip packet empty and beside you. He had only known you a little bit, but from being able to handle what you had probably seen, saved his friend's life and now asleep in the DSO Hospital wing waiting room, you were interesting. He wondered how you and Leon knew each other, or if this was the first night you guys had met? Picking up the empty packet he puts it in the bin before taking off his jacket and laying it over your body. It was big enough on you to be a full blanket almost. He sits beside you, trying his best to calm his worried mind.

-----*2 hours later*-----

You slept this entire time, A doctor coming to see you both, the time now 8am. Chris walks over to the doctor and is given the verdict, nodding and thanking the surgeon  he walks over to you and gently placed a hand on your shoulder.
"Hey.." He said quietly, tapping your shoulder.

Your eyes open and you look up to Chris leaning over you, quickly moving away from him he pulls his hands back showing he wasn't a threat. "You're okay.. It's just me."

You look around, very dazed. Remembering where you were you rub your eyes and look back up to Chris as you yawn. "What's wrong? Do we have news on Leon yet?"

Chris gives a nod standing up. "Yeah, we can go and see him."

You stand up quickly, Chris' jacket falling to the ground as you hadn't realised it was on you yet. "Is he alright?!"

Chris bends down to pick up his jacket and throws it over your shoulders. You were still looking up to him waiting for an answer. "Yeah, he's going to be just fine. Thanks to your quick thinking to stuff the wound." He said with a smile. "Follow me, they told me where he is."

You nod and Follow Chris. He walks down the way Leon was taken when you first came here. Taking a left you came to rooms. Leon's was the 3rd one on the left, his name written on a whiteboard on the door. Chris opens the door and allows you to walk in first. Leon laying in a bed, his eyes opening at the sound of the door opening.
A smile comes across his face seeing you were alright, and seeing Chris walk in behind you meant you must have done what he wrote on the sticky note before he passed out.

You walk over and sit on the bed beside his legs. "Hey, you scared the absolute crap out of me. I thought you were going to die on me."

"Okay..." Leon say as his eyes roll back, he was still trying to come out of anesthesia. You only chuckle and shake your head seeing Chris walk up next to you.

"How are you feeling, buddy? You weren't in great shape when I got to you. (Y/N) Here saved your life with quick thinking to pack your wound on your side." He said laying a hand on your shoulder.

"Is that right?" Leon said, a goofy smirk on his face as his eyes closed. His smirk slowly fading as he falls asleep.

"Yeah... I think that is a great idea, Leon.." You say resting a hand on his. You were glad he was alright. But what happens now? You were too scared to go back to your place still. And your work was in ruins. Your boss would even be there now! You had probably lost your job...
