I am looking forward to Netflix’s live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, a retelling of the beloved classic with none of the words, voice acting or animation that made the original so charming.

I have attached the full, unflattened PSD for this comic to this post for your enjoyment and perusal!  You can see all the mistakes I make on pencils and the lazy shortcuts I use!

This is probably the best way for me to learn that Netflix is remaking Avatar in live action: knowing that someone else already hates it too.

I saw the SUVs rolling in and was 100% sure it was going to be the Border Patrol.

Wait... the Element is coming back? For real?

Hahahaha! I can absolutely imagine Toph saying that.

Makes me think of the Heroes episode that was sponsored by Nissan. Every commercial break was the same two Rogue commercials, and the cheerleader got one as a gift and kept calling it her Rogue. I think they totaled it in the next episode and never mentioned it again.

That thing would hold a LOT of cabbages! (My 84 year old mom drives an Element; great car, just saying.)

Also, this makes me want to re-start my Avatar watch. For a while their it looked like it wouldn't return to Netflix (where I first binged it) so I bought the DVD set. Kind of got bogged down what with the shrieking terrors of the current administratoin.

What a Shyamalanic twist at the end.
