Just watched the live lesson today. I can’t get my ring finger to go from the D to the Dsus4. Cynthia does it so beautifully! Love the song and will keep practicing it! Thank you!!

Cynthia Lin

hi ekaterina! i haven’t tabbed it out yet, but if you search online for it, you’ll find several versions. i think Dominator has a good one.

Holly W

Finally!! This is epic! Part 3 is definitely the hardest for me... time to practice, all the time. Thank you Cynthia!

Roxy Cuenca

Watching this 3 years after you posted - still awesome. You are amazing Cynthia Lin. Thank you so much, you've been on every part of my ukulele journey and I can't thank you enough for your amazing tabs and tutorials. Big love. xxx

Watching this as a brand new patron in June 2020, and this is just awesome. Thank you so much for your work, I've only ever learned uke with youtube tutorials, and yours are just the best ever. Very happy to have become a patron and looking forward to learning more! And again, thank you so much for your wonderful work!!!

Hi, I just started playing a couple of months ago and have been using your tutorials which are brilliant. I just signed up here as you are such a great teacher. I've been practicing parts 1 and 2 so part 3 will be a big step up for me but I love this song so looking forward to it :) Thanks so much, can't wait to get playing again!

José Lima

Fabulous. Congratulations and thank you very much.

Laura

Really looking for number 3 only when you have all the cords up and stuff like you posted lesson 1 and lesson 2 are you going to do a lesson three in the same manner as 1and 2

Carol Owens

I joined so recently, 2022, and after getting Part 1 down, beginning to understand Part 2, I still get lost on Part 3 even as I watch this video. I have watched you rocking out with Kalei G in their studio and am determined to learn how to play along while having that with both of you and your voice coming thru while I play along using your exact chords in that particular video. HELP, please. (I don’t care if it takes me many months to learn this…seriously, even all of this year.) Have low G on aNueNue concert uke.😉

Carol Owens

Jenny, thank you! I think first I need to do exactly what you said, “give it some time.” Is that a link to a separate Part 3, done exactly as Parts 1 and 2? I’ll check it out. (I’m having so much fun with this I haven’t found it frustrating. To my horror, tho, is that if I am playing other things, skip only a day or two I have already forgotten what I learned and have to go back to looking at the music I’ve printed out! As many times as I’ve done Part 1 I’m still playing it slowly to get it right.

Carol Owens

Oh, that link is for Patreon $10 per month, and I joined at the $1 per mo level. Hmmm. Is it more detailed than the combination of Part 2 and Part 3 together that I do have?

Jenny Selig

Yes -- it's the only lesson that takes Part 3 on its own. There are also additional Part 1 and Part 2 reviews at the $10 level -- she did all three.

Patricia Hurley

Thank you Cynthia! I was sorry to miss the live class, but just did the recording - what a blast! Now if I can just get those quick F/xx s at the end... lots of practice ahead!

Jenny Selig

Amazing. I had to watch late, too, and just finished it. Herculean effort on your part and even though I've never really been into this song it's fun to play!

Kittenville

Just got done watching and this is going to keep me up late tonight practicing!!! Thank you so much for doing this song -- Love it!!

Michelle Kidd

I upped my Patreon level just to watch this! Great job! So much to work on! Thank you so very much for this!!

Jon F

Hi Michelle, be sure to see Cynthia's Live Lesson for Part 1 of this song which was posted on June 15, it's awesome x 2.

Laurie Dobson

Whoot whoot! The most anticipated tutorial ever! Thanks, Cynthia!

Jon F

Thanks again Cynthia. I posted a Pt 2 video on your community forum :-)

I just got a delivery of my new wood tenor Uke (Manton) with low G tuning. Oh man, playing this song with the low G is like musical liquid chocolate for my ears. The added base sounds to the picking is just beautiful <3
