Hanging out for this one; my first time. David from Down Under (Cooma NSW, Australia)

Nancy Mendoza

Hi David and welcome. This is my 2nd Live Jam session so I'm still in the "newbie group." My little uke has become my soothing and enjoyable friend. I like to name things...still searching for a name for my first uke. My tractor I named the Beast. My car is named DRISS from the French movie "The Intouchables", and my roomba is Oscar. :)

Nancy Mendoza

Addendum...I'm in San Diego. Beautiful day. Loving the rain and cool breezes.

David Learoyd

Thanks Nancy. Yes, I think of it as my little bundle of joy! I just love the simplicity of it, and the thrill I get from hearing songs come alive as I strum along. Quite delightful!

Roland Taub

Hi Cynthia! First trimer Roland from Texas

Christa Pettinato

this is so hard!!! Christa from Point Pleasant NJ

Tracy Whitener

Thank you so much Cynthia! You really did a great job on the arrangement, I love it, and will practice - a lot :)

Lisa Harris

Sorry, I missed the session - but just watched it! Fantastic arrangement. I think this will really help my strumming! Thanks Cynthia!

ece

Missed it live, but just caught up on it then and all I can say is bloody brilliant Cynthia! That was an ace tutorial....

Solène Jouault

Really wish my "best" were as good as your "kinda rough". Never even heard the original song but I loved your rendition so much I actually cried the first time you played it. Well I was having a bit of a "rough" day, and as usual, learning from you gave me my smile back. So thank you so much Cynthia you're one of my hero !

Mark Freeman

Could t watch live the other day. But played along today. This was incredibly well done, Cynthia. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Sean G

Awesome!! This is a great addition. I’ll play it for my wife.

MissWillarda

Please Make a little pdf with fingerpicking Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase :D

Steph Philippe

Hello from Melbourne (mel-bin), Australia! Thanks Cynthia for the arrangement and lesson - at the end of the video playback, I was able to (mostly) play it - now just to practise and refine! I hadn't picked up an ukulele yet in March, and therefore hadn't come across your page, so I'm not *totally* devastated that I missed your show earlier this year! Hope to see you in Aus sometime soon though!

Naomi Law

This is brilliant, thanks so much, I'm a beginner and this lesson was really enjoyable and easy to join in with. Thanks for taking the time to put this compilation together. ❤🎶🎸

Chrissa Zagkotsis

Thanks! I was at a lost after downloading your chord sheet through Youtube, so joined your Patreon as you´re my favourite Ukulele teacher and you explain it so well!

Janine Keeling

Wow ... first actual patreon 'live' lesson(2 years later) I have watched & tried... This is so much better than just trying my own attempt at Cynthia's great arrangements... It's like I could never ever get this depth of understanding on my own.. This one lesson is worth more than my year's patreon cost!! I am so thankful for you Cynthia... and all the questions from other patreoners too... because they asked all my questions!! THANK YOU ALL! one new and very happy patreoner! smiles, janine

Sylvia R Jung

This is still super hard for me. I play the ukulele since last spring. Should I try an easier piece? After 2 weeks of working just on the strumming I am almost there, but cant sing to it yet, get's all choppy and weird and self conscious.

Sylvia R Jung

You also seem to add some extra flourish in the break/verse at the end of each measure. What do you do there exactly?
