Enjoy!  Remember to like, share, and comment to help spread the word!

All Patrons get access to the Let It Be Lesson

I've arranged Let it Be to have lots of different levels. If you're more beginner, start with just down strums and try to learn the F - C/ Dm/ riff.  As you get more advanced, you can add the break chords, the tab on the break, and the fingerpicking through the first verse and chorus of the song.

I break it all down in this recorded full-length Let It Be Lesson here: http://bit.ly/LIBUkeLesson

All Patrons get access to this lesson (just click the link!), and if you're not yet a Patron, it's only $1 to join.  You'll get access this recorded Lesson and other archived lessons, plus you'll get to vote for our next Song of the Month.

If you'd like to participate in the next Live Lesson, join Patreon at the $5 level.  In the Live Lesson, I teach the song, take questions from our live chat, and share details about how I created the arrangement.  I really enjoy being Live with the Patrons - if you haven't checked out a Live Lesson yet, please do, and join us for the next one!

Hi, Cynthia! I've been working on Guava Jam from Feb and Mar 2016. I would love a tutorial for the rest of the song--a possibility?

Pam

My post disappeared while I was editing so I will give another try. I played in college in the 60's and started again last October. I really enjoy playing. I have 2 Pono baritone ukes-one Mahogany and one Acacia. Both have slotheads and one a radius fretboard. Both are glossy. I play with a group at the senior center near where I live-in a burb near Madison WI. We play music mostly from the 60's and 70's-beatles, hank Williams, Petula Clark ETC. and also some show tunes and Hawaiian music. We have lots of FUN-also the name of the group. I joined this month and look forward to the first lesson. I had no luck trying to coordinate singing and playing the island strum until I took Cynthia's lesson and then it clicked. I have been playing older lessons and really like her teaching style. I can actually see what she is doing-those lovely long thin fingers really help. My biggest difficulty is barre chords. My bumpy arthritic fingers do not help but using the side of my index and pressing with my middle finger helps. I do need to convert the tabs except when picking chords, since the tuning is different but it is not difficult and I have always enjoyed picking.

HI, I'm Luna from Hadley Massachusetts. I am a librarian and run a weekly ukulele strum (Hadley Uke Strum) at my library every Friday evening. I learn A LOT of the stuff I bring to the group from Cynthia Lin on YouTube! I find you a PERFECT teacher. I have recently started fingerpicking and that is tons of fun, since you make it easy to understand. I used to learn everything from youtube for free, but this week when I went to learn Let It Be, I could not find the LESSON!!! So I thought maybe from now on I had to pay a dollar every month for the ability to see the whole lesson. I paid yesterday and still can't figure out how to see the lesson (not the play-along) for that song?? Can you help me ?? I was hoping to teach it tomorrow at my ukulele group. THANKS!! I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!

Kathy Klister

Beautiful video, and I really love playing this arrangement. Thanks Cynthia!

Cecile
