Aloha Patrons!

If you have shopped for ukuleles online at all (raise your hand if you suffer from UAS 🙋🏻‍♀️), then you probably know The Ukulele Site (https://www.theukulelesite.com/).  The team at The Ukulele Site have been creating ukulele videos and reviews for years, and they have a new podcast series on their YouTube channel.  I respect these guys as fellow artists and ukulele experts, and it was great fun to spend time chatting with them in a long-form conversational interview.  You can watch and find out more about my first ukulele, the songwriting part of my life, how my YouTube channel developed, and hear some jamming as well.

Please enjoy, and click through to leave a comment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ahi3Ug5pXeM

And a quick welcome to lots of new Patrons! (Did you sign up because of the podcast?)  Our September Patron event calendar will be up shortly, and there will be lots of info for you there to help you out if you're new (check out last month's monthly calendar).

Thanks for being here and supporting!

xo cynthia.

Awesone interview with the guys talking of your journey in learning and bringing uke bliss to the masses🌴🌺🌴👏

Krysia Bamford

I am purely here on Cynthia’s channel because of her teaching style. It is clear, broken down into chunks, I can easily understand her music sheets and she doesn’t miss any important bits or quickly gloss over things. She is prepared to do the hard yards and go over a difficult section slower and more often. Most teachers rush on as if they are running out of time.

The great Australian tour is nearly ready to begin!! When do we receive the music so we can start practising, please!!

I listen to podcasts all the time! This was wonderful. So fun to hear you and the others today while I was gardening.

Donna Grant

I especially enjoyed Cynthia’s discussion of selecting the kind of wood to suit a voice. Loved the long relaxed conversation. Cynthia, you are rocking that Hawaiian tan!

You have such a large following because your a bloody good teacher you put a lot of time into it and although your arrangements may be challenging they are definately achievable

Good job! I think you represented yourself very well and explained what you're up to. I'm a supporter.

I would love a chord chart / lesson for Aquamarine. Any plans for that?

It was suggested in the monthly vote comments a few times. Be sure to "heart" it to give it an up vote!
