Watch and Share Our Rainbow Flash Mob!! (Patreon)

{Public post}

Aloha, Patrons!

What a thrill to be a part of the 51st Annual Ukulele Festival Hawai'i this past Sunday, July 18th.  Performing live with U3 was such a joy (my first live performance since Jan 2020!), and then watching our squad's Rainbow Flash Mob made me so proud of our community.  Catch up on all the festivities!

Please take a moment to click through to YouTube, drop a rainbow emoji 🌈, hit the thumbs up and leave a comment for our squad.  Please give our amazing Flash Mob editor Liên (of Kratzke Ukulele) a shoutout as well.  Liên puts so much aloha into her video collaborations, I cannot thank her enough for making this rainbow masterpiece (and on a very tight schedule!).

Can you share our Flash Mob performance with your friends and family?  I'm sure it will bring a smile to their faces. 😊  Thank you to all who participated in representing our community so colorfully!  A clip of the Flash Mob even made it onto the Hawai’i evening news (which I shared on my IG and FB).

Thank you so much to all who tuned in live to cheer on U3.  I'm watching the replay, and I love seeing all your comments and positive vibes in the live chat.  It makes a different to us as performers to know you are watching and enjoying the show, especially since the show is virtual.  We feel your energy and support, and I appreciate you showing up.

Highlight of the festival for me: After U3's performance, and after the flash mob videos from CL Uke Squad and Ukulenny's squad, Jake Shimabukuro makes a dad joke about U3's name. Stay tuned.  You can hear me laughing offstage. :)

The whole festival day was full of music, memories, and community aloha.  Congratulations to all the Festival staff who worked so hard to make the virtual festival a success.  Check out my recent post for more details about the legacy of the Festival.

Look forward to seeing you all Thursday for our monthly Live Lesson!
