Aloha, 100-Dayers!

Today is Day 25 of this year’s 100 Days of Ukulele project, which started on February 22nd.  Congrats if you've made it this far!  And if you started late or are catching up, that's great too.  Remember, this is your project.  There are no “rules” to this challenge, and we encourage players to adapt the project to their own interests and skill levels. You can join our active online communities on Facebook and Instagram, and our new alternative for non-social media users (we feel you!) - special shoutout for the handful of Patrons sharing their projects here on our Patreon Community feed!

How are we feeling on Day 25?  Comment below!  I'd love to hear how you are doing a quarter of the way through this year's project.  How has your project evolved?  What kind of changes are you making in your approach?  How has your playing or musicality changed?  Are you finding inspiration from the community around you?  Any feedback on the communities, or the new webapp tracker?

Because this is a long project, it helps to trade stories with folks who know what you're going through. :)  Join us on this Friday, March 24th (Day 31), for our second Zoom Mixer of the Project!  We had a lively first Zoom Mixer on Day 10, with 50 participants from around the globe.  Note that we often hold these Live events on the "first Friday" of each month during 100 Days, but for several reasons need to shift the date this time. There will not be another event on Friday, April 7th, but we will have another check-in further into the Project.

In the Zoom Mixer, you can meet other project participants, chat together in small breakout rooms, and share with each other about your projects.  We'll give prompts for starting the conversation, and we'll switch rooms a few times so we can meet different folks.

HOW TO JOIN the 100 Days Zoom Mixer #2 (Live on Zoom)

Friday March 24th, 12 noon Hawaii Time | 3pm PT | 6pm ET | 10pm GMT (Sat am for Asia/Australia) check time converter

Zoom link: Click here

Meeting ID: 884 0473 5605, Passcode: 100days

Please comment if you're planning to join, and mention the time for your time zone to help out other folks. Important: double-check all times carefully this month and next, as Daylight Saving Time begins in some places.

This is a live interactive event, so we won't be able to record it.  The next one will be on a Friday at the end of April or beginning of May.  Stay tuned!

A special thanks to our admins, mods, cheerleaders, tech team, and everyone who is supporting the project!  Keep going!!

xo cynthia.

Thanks to all of the ukulele family for keeping everyone inspired, through your recordings, tips/tricks, collaborations and unique selections! My change for this year is to try some of our ukulele standards in different keys, tunings and on Baritone. Aloha!🤙

I'll keep my mouth shut so nobody can say Italians are all mawkishnesses (a derogatory noun I just learned? learnt?)

Darn I will miss it! Next time....

Hi All; looking forward to the next mixer. I have two tickets for U-3's Berkeley concert that I would like to sell. Out-of-state family event changed and we will not be in CA at the time of the concert. Please message me if interested. I did check with Jenny before posting! ❤️

I practice daily and often for several snippets of time throughout the day. I don't record and post much but I know I'm making progress! Mainly I don't record much because I don't have a beautiful voice like Cynthia Lin. :(

I hope to be there, 6:00 PM EDST from Philadelphia, Pa.
