Aloha Patrons!

First of all, a huge welcome hug for all the new Patrons and a mahalo high-five to all you lovely Patrons for joining me in my mission to share the Joy of Uke.  YOU ROCK!

LET'S USE OUR COMMUNITY PAGE

The Community page is a tab on my Patreon page (see picture above).  I'm working with Patreon to develop the features of this page, but in the mean time, it gives us a centralized place that's for Patrons only.  

1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF: If you'd like to, share a bit about your uke journey.  If you're looking for players near you, tell us where you are.  What songs are you playing, and what songs do you hope to play?  Any tips or tricks to share?  How did you discover the Joy of Uke, and how do you share it?  Keep in mind that you have the option to post only to Patrons or make the post public.

2. POST YOUR QUESTIONS: Have a question?  Instead of posting your question on an old post, you can start a new post on the Community page.  That way, your question will get seen faster and perhaps another Patron can answer.  (If you've been playing a while and can answer some newbie questions, this would help me out a lot!)

3. OUR COMMUNITY MANAGER: Fellow Patron Richard Kimball has stepped up to be our Community Manager.  He will keep an eye on the Community page to answer questions and to post tips and tricks and new discussion topics from time to time, so look out for his posts.  Thank you, Richard!!

4. KEEP IT ALOHA: Together let's welcome the newbies.  Let's give each other support and respect each other's journeys, and let's lift each other up.  I believe the Joy of Uke can lift up the whole world. :)  

Improvements for the Community page are coming, and I'll keep working with Patreon to make it more interactive and user-friendly over time.  Happy to hear your suggestions.
