Island Strum Bootcamp this Tuesday (Patreon)

i'm teaching an Island Strum Bootcamp this Tuesday 4/4 in San Francisco - and all the $10+ Patrons will get access to watch online!

ABOUT THE BOOTCAMP

The Island Strum is the most versatile strum in ukulele, and having a solid grasp of the Island Strum will improve your rhythm and confidence to tackle more advanced strums. Cynthia will break down the elements of the Island Strum step by step and spend time with each in-person attendee to adjust hands and strumming technique. We'll play through several songs using the Island Strum and review chord transitions, and we'll wrap up with an intro to the main topics of Beginner II - fingerpicking and chucking.

This 2-hour workshop is designed as a refresher for those who have taken Cynthia's Beginner Basics class and would like to move on to Beginner II or Advanced Beginner, or for anyone who has been following Cynthia's tutorials online and would like some in-person instruction.

HOW TO ATTEND IN PERSON

Tickets are available here .  There are less than 10 people signed up right now, so attendees will get lots of individual instruction!

HOW TO WATCH ONLINE

All $10+ Patrons will receive a message on how to access the Bootcamp on Tuesday 4/4, the day of of the Bootcamp.  The Bootcamp runs 6-8pm PDT.  You can login and live chat with each other during the Bootcamp, please note that I will be focused on the in-person attendees and may not be able to respond to the chat.  The recording will be available to watch afterwards as well.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PATREON PLEDGE

1. Go to your Patreon icon (top right corner with your picture)

2. choose Your Pledges from the drop-down menu

3. choose Edit Pledge (blue link on the right side)

4. see your current pledge on upper left and choose Edit (blue link)

5. choose your new pledge, hit Continue

6. hit Update Pledge (orange button)
