Aloha, Patrons!

Happy to be posting a new video on YouTube, it has been a while! It's my birthday today 🥳 and this song feels meaningfully appropriate.

Watch "The Story": https://youtu.be/tz3jGV794w8

Please watch, like, comment, and share. Your support makes a difference! I will add the CC lyrics and chords in the next few days to make it easier to play along.

I taught this full lesson in July 2023, and that lesson is now available for all Patrons ($1+). Hope you enjoy learning it!

Get the Chord Chart + Full Lesson (all Patrons, $1+): https://www.patreon.com/posts/july-2023-live-85399284

All Patrons (pay what you can, $1+) have access to the full lesson for this song. Click the link above, and the chord chart pdf is attached at the bottom of the post. Thank you to my Patreon community for supporting this video and lesson!

I maintain the $1 pay-what-you-can tier because I want to keep these lessons accessible. If you are not yet a Patron, by joining you'll have access to dozens of archived Patron-only monthly live lessons.

Before our August Live Lesson this past Thursday, several Patrons gathered in the Pre-Lesson Zoom Social and were able to talk and share about the tragic Maui wildfires, and it really meant a lot to simply be together. Thank you to our Patrons on Maui for connecting with us and letting us know about the Maui Food Bank, which is active in supporting the Maui community in times of emergency and every day. Take a moment to research ways to help, and I encourage you to reach out directly to Maui friends and ukulele players and offer your support, be it warm words or donations.

I send you all my aloha!

All of these lines across my face Tell you the story of who I am So many stories of where I've been And how I got to where I am But these stories don't mean anything When you've got no one to tell them to It's true...I was made for you Oh yeah, it's true... I was made for you.
