True Blood, Supernatural, From, The Vampire Diaries....I've always known you two are awesome reactors, but your channel is seriously at the tippy-top for me right now. It's been pretty rare, too, that a reaction channel doing a series I had never watched before surprises me with me loving that series, but From has been phenomenal. Seeing True Blood return after your short break makes me excited that From is returning soon as well!

Finally here! The body in the car is essentially what the first chapter of the second book in the novels is about. In the book, it was Lafayette. It seems like it was intended to be him in the show however due to Lafayette popularity and Nelsan Ellis’ performance, it was changed. Best decision ever!

I remember being so confused as to why people (including the characters) thought that was Lafayette when I first watched this episode. I was thinking there's no way those are men's feet, let alone his lol. Even if he had that nail polish

Yes!! I always wondered- were the show writers trying to trick the book readers, doing a big fake-out to make them think Lafayette was dead just like in the books; or did they actually intend to kill Lafayette off, but then decided not to because his character was so popular. Either way, I'm very happy they kept him around!

Fun fact the Greek/pagan god Pan was the god of wild,shepherds and flocks. He looked like a satyr and was associated with sexuality,violence,joy,virility,dance,music and panic (because his invisible presence would make both human and animal get sudden irrational fear) . Don't know if this has been mentioned but if y'all remember when Marianne first made her appearance in the jail the deputy spoke highly of her but as they were leaving Andy didn't seem to know who she was and he was downright rude and disrespectful to Marianne. Which is in my opinion why the body ended up in his car.

THAT OPENING SCENE! Bill telling Jessica we recycle in this house 😂👏🏼 Love the father teenager dynamic. Tara telling her mom the truth about Miss Jeanette was so devastating. The underground captives were CRAZY 🤯 Poor Lafayette 😭 But he still looked good 💚 That racist dude bearing his trauma to Lafayette was certainly a scene. Oh Jessica is MESSY & I kinda love it. Maryann telling Tara’s mom off was INSANE 🙌🏼 Sookie & Bill are giving me whiplash from all the back & forth y’all 😂 The news debates are so interesting. Anna Camp! Jason mourning Amy was sad. Not Jason getting sucked further into the church cult. Not me going aww puppy Sam is so cute to ASS in my face 😂💀 I’m noticing they love having characters smell things a lot. Oop Sookie finding out about her great uncle. Yes Terry putting those gossiping women in their place sending them away. Andy drunkenly harassing the elderly patrons tho 🤦🏽‍♀️ Maryann is so mysterious. I need to know more about her! I’m kinda getting like goddess vibes from her. She seems really into love or physical connection. Kinda reminds me of a succubus too. Maybe she feeds off that kinda energy? 🤔 The Bill & Sookie love confession was so sweet. That scene afterwards tho 🔥 Sergio commentating on that scene had me dying 😂 Of course it’s Eric! To answer your question about how it feels to be bitten by a vampire, in the books the vampire can control it. They can make it painful, or peaceful, or sexually euphoric. Sookie seems to enjoy it 😉

when i was a teenager, like 16 or 17, I watched this show and I was scared of wax figures of people after this episode. it's such a juicy season but TRAUMA like I have never gone to a wax museum and I never will lmao the actress that plays Miss Jeanette, Aisha Hinds, plays a character on the show 911 and the flashbacks make it hard for me to watch her

book spoiler ahead skip if you plan to read the book....................................................................................................SPOILER: so, in the book lafayette is actually the body in the car. with him being my favorite character i was disheartened when i saw the cliffhanger of season 1. so glad they decided to change that for this show. i am usually a stickler for book accuracy but i will stand by this exception!
