I truly would like for them to get rid of the Sara character. She has "main character energy" without having earned it, and her whole vibe bugs me. She just walks around looking and acting like a victim, like the *only* victim, and has no other personality. Very bland and irritating how she is pushed into the main storyline as she is. I would much rather focus on all the other characters. But that's my only complaint about this series! I'm watching for the first time, too. Victor, on the other hand, is precious and must be protected at all costs. And reading is FUNdamental! The library is now open. Who are you going to read?

This show is really creepy! I'm not remembering anything about season 2 so far. I thought I'd seen it, but maybe I didn't watch the whole season. It's pretty high on the creepy meter for me, so maybe that's why I stopped watching it? It could have been because of the platform it was playing on and I didn't have it. Anyway, any of my comments and speculations would be totally spoiler free. So, seems like Victor has been here the longest. He survived that long! He has a lot of information. One thing that frustrates me with the show is how little the people seem to actually talk to each other about what's going on and trying to figure it out. At least Boyd, Donna and Jim should be meeting and talking about things. And maybe add Jade to the list. Sharing information and speculations. ugh Like, how much have they tried to kill the monsters? What have they tried? Would fire work? Oh, and another thing - has no one that came up to the tree in the road ever had a chainsaw? I know that there are a lot of people that would not just turn around. If they had the tools they'd just move the tree. Has no one ever tried that?

I felt so bad for Sarah this episode, I had to keep reminding myself of what she had done and that the town's reactions are justified 😭 Everyone in this show is so great at acting, it's been so immersive and especially fun getting to watch the show alongside you two!

I feel like Sarah didnt know she was following the devil until she discovered the little boy who I think is an angel. Its too late though because she hurt too many people. Im starting to think those monsters only fck with your head if they think that it will work. Meaning if they cant get to you and you wont listen to them they give up and go find someone else. I always wondered why they didnt bother Boyd in the cave they left immediately. I think its because they know how mentally strong he is and once he was protected by the stones it was like enh why bother lol Just a theory.

Releasing the bloody chess set would be pretty dark. But would I buy it? Yes 😂 The monsters taunting Randall in the bus tho. Couldn’t be me honestly. Jade seeing the man holding up the book & it leaking blood was creepy. Oof Tabitha & Jim confronting Boyd about Sara was tense. Ethan wanting to confront Sara was very mature of him. Him calling Sara a monster was brutal. Donna giving Boyd some tough love. Sara just out walking about was wild. I did feel bad for Sara even tho she did bad things. I really liked the scenes with Victor & Jade. Poor Victor having moved all the cars once he was alone. Him sitting on his mom’s car while Jade played violin for him was sweet 💚 The scene of Sara & Elgin was good. Liked getting to know more about Elgin. The scene between Tien Chen & Sarah broke my heart 💔 The Kenny & Sara confrontation was brutal. Aww poor Tilly being sick. Victor giving the Christopher backstory. Tabitha seeing all the kids approaching her was crazy. Not Marielle taking some of Tilly’s morphine. Randall setting up shop on top of the bus is interesting. Boyd was so behind on going to talk to Tien Chen. I think this was a great character driven episode. You get to see certain character dynamics that progress the plot & add layers. Appreciate your breakdown & perspectives 🖤

I think Sarah is very much feeling everything - she just stands and listens because she understands it is not her time to show emotions. It would be a natural reaction, but she holds back and she just says "okay", or "I understand", things like that, and I really really love how they went about that. I really like her character.

I honestly can't stand Kenny I love his mom but even after rewatching this show several times I still don't like him hes one of my least favorite characters. He's self righteous and acts like he's the only one that's had to deal with shit and I really don't like how people were more concerned about his feelings now that Marielles there as oppose to Kristi having her fiance with her and resuming the relationship she thought she lost.

I have a slightly different idea of why Kristi's fiancé is there. Goes back to Jim's (and similarly Cody's) theory that the people there are part of an "experiment" so bringing the fiancé there challenges Kristi in new ways. She was getting comfortable with Kenny, so now there is a new piece at play and if Mari has an addiction how does Kristi handle that.
