With Camp Crystal Lake coming out next month, we were thinking of officially covering the Friday the 13th Franchise. Being that this show is covered by the same producers of IT: Welcome to Derry, we think it may be good and filled with easter eggs. However, our watch history is a little all over the place. We have seen some movies a few times and some others will be first time watches. So we had a question to ask you all:

Should we cover all Friday the 13th movies? Or just the first time watches?

First time watches: Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), Friday the 13th Part III (1982), Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985), Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986), Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) and Friday the 13th (2009) (adding this one cause we do not remember anything from this movie)

We will be covering the 1979 Carrie and the 2013 Carrie in Honor of the new show ALSO coming out in October.

I voted for the whole franchise recap BUT please do whatever you feel like you guys can handle cause wow you are feeding us like crazy 🥹🥹🥹❤️

Erica J.

^ Seconding this lol

Charie

I have a soft spot for this franchise so I hope you'll cover all of them.

Jacob Young

PLEASE DO THE WHOLE FRANCHISE I BEG YOU

Zombies_Are_Real

I don't think it really matters at all, but there is a Carrie 2 lol.

Kimberly S. (Rawr)

Us saying no to more content? Never 😂 I’ve never seen all of the movies either so I’d be down to watch them all with you guys 💜

Sinister Goose

I would love for you guys to cover them all!! But if that is too much for you guys I don’t think any of us would blame you for only covering the 1st time watches. Do what you think you can handle❤️

spacious_recroom

I voted for First Time watches, just because that's still eight movies and I'm sure you want to be able to give yourself time to watch other movies outside of this franchise. But of course, do whatever makes you happiest! 😊😉

PAUSE

I may be the minority here, but I actually love the new blood!

Santiago Hardy

The entire franchise please. You may pick up on certain elements that you may have forgotten over time.

Joe Crammond

re-watches aren't as fun as first time watches but rewatching gives you a chance to go down memory lane and refresh your memory

Liz

Might as well do the whole franchise, I did this a while back for October/Halloween, had a fun time watching them all

wren

Do whatever you feel like you have time for HOWEVER I personally would love to experience all of them with yall!

cruzinbosco

Ha. I loved that movie growing up. 😆

BleuMoon (Mod)

I've said it before, and I'll say it again 😌 we'd be content watching ya'll watch paint dry. So of course we want you to do all the movies. We're spoiled :3

BlueJean452

I love Carrie 2. I don’t necessarily think it’s a great movie…but I love it 😂

KiwiJello

I will watch the entire franchise with you guys. I barely talk to you, and you have NO IDEA who I am, but I love watching stuff with you guys. I evenw atch stuff I don't like because you add such a fun twist to it. It's comforting and entertaining. Also, you two and Jason are going to be a riot!!!

KiwiJello

One of my favorites. I heard they just found the UNCUT version somewhere and are going to release it soon. I hope that is true. Seven would have been so much better without the kill cuts.

Dylan

Weirdly I’ve never bothered to watch any of them, so it would be great to watch with you.

MapleDonut_FaireeSamm

Don't forget the remake of Carrie starring Chloe Grace from Kick Ass & Let The Right One In... along with other good roles...

DkLounge

Maybe save Freddy Vs Jason for if you decide to go through all the Nightmare On Elm Street movies

Kara Clark

'73 model. "The Final Chapter" scarred me. I had a similar barn & added dark forested road to walk home from a horse I rode. Ready to watch again, & hopefully see the cheesiness aka "Children of the Corn" to overcome childhood trauma! 😅🤣

Pau1Gam3r!

Why didn’t we finish the Underworld series 🤧🥺

Puffadder

Seems I'm in the minority, but I'd only recommend the first time watches. Even that is too much.. lmao. It's just... a really overrated, and quite frankly boring franchise. Y'all already have so much on your plate. It's hard for me to want to recommend anything past the first 2, the 2009 remake, and Freddy Vs Jason. Idk if Freddy vs Jason is apart of your list, or if you have already seen it.. but that is arguably the best Friday the 13th movie lmao, imo ofc. Literally just got a friend watch it last night funny enough. Well, that and the 2009 remake.

Victoria

Voted for only first time watches, because I feel like it would take so much space on the channel... I'm not a big big fan of this franchise so I would be a little sad that there's no so much of other content. But of course it's your channel so do whatever you feel it's best, just my opinion! Best wishes guys! ✨

Natalie Halveston

I've never watched any so it will be my first time watch. 😆

Chloe Grace

I honestly don’t know what to vote, because there is a lot here and I really don’t want you guys to feel overwhelmed or like you have to watch all of these! I think if you’d like to watch all of these please do, but don’t feel obligated to for us 🤗

Jim Carter

I was 9 in 1980 and grew up watching all of the slashers. I made my mom take me and my friend to see part 4 on opening day. Later in life when I lived in West Hollywood my friend Alexis was killed by Chucky in Bride of Chucky and I was seething in envy. I wish you guys could have been around for 80's Halloween. It really was an event. Roaming free at night collecting candy from your neighbors, watching scary movies until you fall asleep. I haven't had a trick or treater in years. It's really sad how they have ruined it for kids now. Last year they had the kids trick or treat in the Walmart parking lot in the middle of the day that was not October 31. Blasphemy.

Jim Carter

It was the last good one. I felt like it went back to the feel of the older movies. 5 was a fever dream and 6 was sanitized for the masses. 8 and 9 were hot messes. 10 and Freddy vs Jason were fun but gimmicks. I liked the remake. 1 and 2 are my favorites but I saw them all as they were released.

Jim Carter

If you don't like the movies and find them boring that's totally cool. Some people, including myself, find this franchise to be beloved. We all have things that we grew up with and love that as an adult we can arguably agree were not great but we still love them because they were part of our childhood. If I made you watch some of the stuff I loved to watch in the 70's you would probably think I was insane. But I'm old and they make me remember being young.

Puffadder

Hey, I love 70s horror films. I know that's not exactly the discussion here lol. We're all just voicing our opinions really. Mine deserves to be heard, as does yours. Sergio and Cody will know what's best for their channel at the end of the day

Jim Carter

My friend Alexis was in Children of the Corn Part 5. It was really bad. When we first met I told them I was watching some movie you were in the other night and I had to turn it off because it was so bad. But I was just being cheeky. We had some good times together. They passed a few years ago and I am glad I have those bad movies to remember the good times.

Jasmine Pearsall

I say just first time watches because it frees y'all up to watch more things!

lynseypie

Yaas do em all!!

LauraLouBoo

I think, sorry, I KNOW, that a full rewatch will help you. Also, Jason Lives is one of the best in the franchise. It actually feels like a true sequel

B-dad

I want whatever works best for yall. But I know the series can be a bit rough back to back to back. So maybe just do a few at a time here and there and don’t binge. The series is repetitive enough without binging. Also 2009 Friday has Sam Winchester and Killer Frost (CW hot girls😜❤️)

HedCheeeeese

Holy cow, that is quite a list! I mean did you see ANY of the Friday 13th franchise? 😅 But please, seriously, don't burn yourselves out. I love watching you guys watch movies that I've seen because of the joy you bring to each watch. None of us want to see you lose that joy so, while I want to see you watch all of the movies all of the time and all of the TV shows all of the time, take care of you.

HedCheeeeese

NO THERE ISN'T AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME BELIEVE OTHERWISE! (Like the Highlander, there can be only one!)

Jontor11

The thing is...none of these movies are "great" or even good. They are just B-horror movies.

Chaunte Dotson

Carrie 2 , was a decent film, but irrelevant to the new series

Nemo-the-Red

Was it said at some point that they weren't going to finish the movies they pulled from the patreon exclusives? It seems like they aren't pulling more requests, but did they decide not to do the last ones they recieved either?

The Horror Bandwagon

Hey! You can direct that at us :) Nope to all. We still plan on doing the Patreon exclusives it’s just taking a lot longer. So as a result We aren’t taking new requests for those and not starting any new long term shows. All this is just to get an idea of what everyone wants first for the rest of the year in terms of movies as we still need to get those out constantly. We’re sorry it’s taken longer to get to yours. I know you have one on deck (and a pretty long one lol) We understand you had to cancel but once we are ready to watch yours we’d be happy to offer a free month so that way you can see it if you’re still interested at that point :) Let us know!

Nemo-the-Red

Oh, I wont need a free month, i loved supporting you guys while I could afford it, and i mean to come back when I can, I just wasnt sure. It is a long movie, and i greatly appreciate that you guys will get to it when you can. I also knew you guys had a lot going on this year, and that you guys talk on stream a bit, but i dont often watch the gaming streams so wasnt sure if I missed any news. Ill almost definitely be back next month for the Halloween season, the economy has just been killing my partner and I.

Nemo-the-Red

Loved it as a teen, probably doesn't hold up much, but i really liked it at the time.

Nemo-the-Red

Yeah, I enjoy the idea of them, but there is really only 2 or 3 watchable ones in the franchise (imo). Super excited for the show though
