Thank you so much for the support! You guys and grrls are awesome!

Lesson learned, next time I do a wide format page, I make the comic itself kind of faded out with an arrow pointing down to the thing you have to click on to see the full sized page. I guess I take for granted that most people read my post, but there's probably a lot of lurkers that hit and run the comic, just here for the colorful pictures, and then they're off again. I don't plan on doing that wide format often, but I'm also not going to agonize over how to lay out a double tall page that would work much better as a double wide.

Well, several of you predicted it, but it seems that scapegrace Mr. Disastar has riled up the field.

If Disastar can split up his beam at the last second to make it harder to dodge, then why doesn't he do that for everyone's beam? Processing power, obviously. That and the more times you beat Disastar and play through the whole game loop, the more of his beams he can do that with. Like a difficulty level thing. You know, if this was an arcade game. Which it isn't.

Rot, bother, tish-tosh and all that. Humbug!

Torabi

Maybe it should be an arcade game! I love Egg-bot already.

Phil_M

Is that Moustachio the Thinkonium plus Hitty, with a budget?

Fogel

A trick I see other comics do for wide pages is to have the comic itself be a button to the wide version, rather than putting the button in the text below

Justaguy

That guy took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

davebarrack

The code that runs the page is already set up so that if you click on a comic, it forwards you to the next comic. It's probably not worth trying to recode the site for what will probably be a one in a hundred page occurrence.

He Who Must Drink Some Coffee

Congratulations and huzzahs, Mr. Barrack. You've created a character who's even more unnecessarily locquacious than I. And that, sir, is no mean feat. Huzzah, I say! Huzzah!

He Who Must Drink Some Coffee

Does anyone ever take the right turn at Albuquerque? How many roads lead to Albuquerque, anyway? 🤔

Anton Schleef

See, that's the problem. Only one road leads _into_ Albuquerque, but many roads lead _out of_ it, so getting the right one when you go by is quite the challenge. Disclaimer: Not an Albuquerquian.

Kevin Wright

Ah, you are an entity of quality comic reading, I see!

Town Crier

Hey! There's no having fun at Fight Club! Stop laughing!

eddi_TBH

After she has him fixed.

Looks like Disastar has blown his big chance anyway. Best to get rid of him before that dinkum thinkum absorbs enough energy to do a real one shot job. Then shank him before he gets to use it.

Reinhold Wuerzner

What is this twaddle you are speaking of, my goodfellows?

Gelatinous Cube

To be honest, I think I'm a little creeped out by Egg-Bot. What EEEEvil is his funny demeanor hiding?!
