This can only end in chaos; both the good and bad kind. Now I'm dreading one of the orbs has an unlock that allows her to spread her consciousness across multiple bodies, like Harem (and yes, I know, no precendet tfor that yet). Still, think of all the chaos :)

Interesting. The orbs focus on where her consciousness is, rather than where her body is. I bet that with the right practice and training she could learn to use the orbs without touching them, and eventually more than two at a time. The question is, what kind of training does she need for that and who would know?

The orbs understanding where her consciousness is... interesting and all, to be sure, but they also just showed awareness of how to exit the medical tank thingie with presumably the least damage to the machine. They literally must have some actual separate intelligence and actionability for this. Not only to realize that they weren't doing her healing body any good or they couldn't be utilized by it or SOMETHING but that if they took the most direct route to the new body (simply crashed through the side), it would likely compromise the functionality, so they found an alternate route. Presumably this is not something Sydney was actively thinking about... maybe she would have figured to not go through the glass/transparent aluminum, but... she probably would not know the best route through the stuff in the ceiling to prevent damage, right?

Does Sydney have any healing powers/effects unlocked? I don't think so, but if so, it'd be interesting to see if the orbs would still follow her consciousness to a "rental," vs staying with her physical mind, or splitting. (Didn't she tape one of them into her hand once to keep it active? That or maybe tape her hand closed so she couldn't kill people during a bad dream. Clearly it is time for a re-read).

I don't know if this is important or not but if this is cannon then if you look at the order they went out then the unknown orb was the first I believe.

Forget why it's transparent, why do you HAVE a crotch thingy? Does the fluid cause yeast infections or something? Is the soul/intelligence/whatever is being transferred into the host body somehow tied to the crotch?

Partially wondering about her bruises, but mostly interested in how the orbs know which body has the active mind. If she ever gets tech/orb upgrade to posses bodies, she could get some wicked combos, especially with bodies with four arms.
