Build your own modular rig for cheap with this 3D printed Eurorack Cheek Set!
Anyone who's into Eurorack or modular synthesis knows that the modules sometimes aren't the most expensive part of getting started...it's the case! When I started my Eurorack journey recently I was faced with the same dilemma. Spend $350-$900 on a good case? Buy one on Reverb and wait 8 weeks for it to arrive in the mail and hope it doesn't get damaged in shipping? Neither of these options appealed to me. After nearly giving up on the idea...l brought this issue up to a very crafty friend of mine who happens to own a good quality 3D printer. He suggested that maybe there was another way...a better way to build your own modular case and we came up with a solution...
Enter: The DoubleRacker V1 Eurorack Cheekplate Set
This unique design (pictured everywhere in this post) is not only what we came up with, but features my own synthesizer. It's an extremely simple, yet practical design pattern and requires literally zero knowledge on how to assemble it. All you need is to pre-purchase the rails and nuts (or threaded nut strips like I did) and these cheeks can be any size HP you want. The best part? My new case is STURDY and super easy to install my modules. Not to mention, effortless to change out the power or switch the cables, thanks to it being an open back design. Did I mention it looks cool too?

Seriously, if you're looking to get into modular or you're looking for a better case with more HP...why spend $900 on a Pittsburg Modular case when you can just buy rails and get these cheeks.
