As I was putting together the huge official "S1gns Patreon Guide" I was taken back by how huge the body of work I've created actually is! Part of the work that I do is these S1gns Check Ins and here we are again in April of 2023. I hope this message finds you well and it motivates you to move forward through the next 2 weeks and far into 2023! Get ready...here we go!

Cheers,

In order to keep myself accountable I will be posting updates to my own goals here: Goal 1: To consistently produce 1 new track every week then followed by every other day I have managed to produce a new track (more so arrangement) every week in Ableton with a mix of Serum, Omnisphere and samples from my Splice plan. In order to set deadlines for myself, I have created a Meditation Music Youtube channel (as these arrangements are not full blown songs with structure and are just long form synth/sfx arrangement which fit into the mold of meditation/sleep/anxiety relief music) that I have forced myself to upload a new video (music with thumbnail) by Friday afternoon no matter what. I am doing this for two main reasons: 1) To break analysis paralysis and get into the habit of just getting something produced and out there. 2) The potential for an additional source of income through ad revenue/sponsors, etc if this channel garners the standard 4000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers needed for monetization. This also ties into my third goal. I have also put thought into the concept of my actual ambient project and have settled on a name tied to ancient mythology but as a futuristic space theme. Goal 2: Learn motion graphics and make videos with either Blender, Stable Diffusion, Adobe (or a mix of all) This goal has the greatest learning curve as I am completely new to it. I am forcing myself to stay late at work every Mon, Wed, Fri to get through a 7 part intro to Blender course. So far I have managed to get through the first video as well as take notes and make flash cards. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make the first follow along project yet. Goal 3: Get 100 Youtube Subscribers As stated in goal 1, by creating a channel to just upload all of my work to every week, it allows me to better understand how YT works and how to optimize my videos SEO. I'm still in the learning process for this but I may as well start learning now so I won't have to when I create a YT channel for my actual ambient project and start uploading actual music with structure to it.
