One of the most asked for tutorials!

For beginners, the topic of compression is one of the most misunderstood aspects of sound design. Why would you use it, ho w do you use it, and how does it actually make a difference on the overall is something you definitely need to know if you want to produce quality music.

In this video, I demystify compression and give you some specific examples of where and how you'd use compression so you can use these concepts and techniques in your own productions. Hopefully this video helps you (especially if you're a beginner!) and you start using compression more often in your own tracks.

Thanks much Chris, for beginners like me it was just what I needed to get past some certain questions I had for myself about how it works 😁

Chris, this is awesome info. To be honest, I never even considered using a compressor on sequences or arps. I regularly use compression on percussion and sometimes leads, but that's it. Tutorials and info like this just adds more tools to my tool pouch. Thanks!

Thanks Chris! I was very lucky to be sold everything by Fab Filter in a bundle download. The downside of which is knowing how to use all their software. Thank you for your information on Dan Worrall. There are 31 videos on Pro Fab Filter / plug-ins… knowing where to go and that the source is a reliable / extremely helpful.
