For all tiers! This one's a banger!

In my tutorials, you often see me walking you through the beginning stages of ambient music production. This is always helpful, but the question then becomes, what's next? In this bonus episode, I take an existing track that's got a good start to it, and really try and explain my thought process about how to move your tracks past the initial stage. Not only do I feel like this is an important step, but the skills you will learn to master in this stage are invaluable to the track creation process.

Hopefully you guys enjoy this one! Let me know what you think in the comments down below.

Cheers and enjoy,

This is SOOO helpful! I very easily get stuck on a starting sound on 8/16/32-bar section and then find it hard to hear what comes next. I know there's a lot more to it than this, but seeing you copy existing material, move it on and then bring it to life by putting ONE new sound in front of it gives me a possible route in. (Also the insight that you do your mixing with audio rather than MIDI: probably obvious to everyone else, but not me!) So thanks as always, and my head is getting deeper into those clouds all the time...

Excellent stuff. Do you have this song available to listen anywhere?
