Chill ambient music, with its unique blend of glitchy percussion and rhythmic beats, has a way of getting under your skin, doesn't it? But the question is, what are the key steps and secrets behind crafting these sounds? We'll explore these questions in this tutorial.

In this session, I'll guide you through my process of creating glitch percussion, then delve into crafting kick drums and bass. Following that, I'll demonstrate how I design pads, sequences, and accent elements that contribute to the overall structure of the track.

My goal, as always with these tutorials is to inspire you and demystify the process, showing that creating such tracks is more accessible than you might think. I hope this tutorial empowers you to start your own musical journey.

Cheers, enjoy, and Happy New Year to all of you!

The track solo-ing is super helpful. Thanks! I’m looking forward to seeing how you approach more beat-inclusive ambient. My transition, with your help, to space ambient from four-on-the-floor EDM has been challenged by my attachment to percussive rhythms. Maybe this year will be a bridge. Best wishes for the new revolution, astronomical and personal.

Hi Chris, in the video at 12:24 it jumps from Omnisphere pad section to the end of the serum seq section. Do you have any video which shows how you achieved that serum sequence part please. Cheers.
