This Metal Monday video for March 16 was blocked on YouTube, so I'm making it available here on Patreon without a paywall. I'm quite eagerly anticipating the release of The Moth from Devin coming up in late May, 2026.

I couldn’t wait to watch the concert when it came out to stream, it’s truly incredible, I’m always in awe of his ability to pull off anything he attempts. Such an under appreciated/rated talent. Not sure if you’re aware of his connection to Zappa where Steve Vai was mentored by Zappa then Vai ultimately mentored Townsend. If you got there organically I’m impressed.

Very nice 👍👏 you pointed out something really important there doug: this guy puts every dollar that he makes back into his next project. He's done this for a few of his albums where he just goes all out and spends more than he makes😂😂 and yeah those are his projects with big orchestras and choir: Deconstruction Empath The Moth

This is one of those 'spare no expense' kinda deals. Not only does it feature a full orchestra and choir but when they expressed they would like a non-metal, classical music only version, Devin went ahead and made it. That version is on the Blue Ray so that's what I pre-ordered. Devin's music sells out fast so get the version you want while you can. If you can't wait until June, try the 'trial run' which is the song 'Why' off the 'Empath' album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT-uWOVP5q0
