Hate to say it but I think Neal’s religiously biased audiences have reduced his ability and need to edit himself. That is theatrical bordering on corny/comic to me.

I’m glad you played Inside and Out though - a shame it wasn’t on W&W!

Oehh! A The Ocean track! Wonderful track from an amazing album...

Lovely to hear "Inside and Out" getting an airing...for us late 70s Genesis fans it was a holy grail to find in record shops as a 12" single. The other tracks have dated quite badly, but I & O is a classic Genesis tune. Away from that, the David Ackles was simply astonishing...I'll be searching out his albums. I read on Wiki that Bernie Taupin produced "American Gothic"...obvs Bernie was Elton John's lyricist during the classic early 70s run of records by Reggie which sold by the truckload (quite rightly!). Some classic Americana there. Folks might like to search out "I Trawl The Megahertz" by Paddy Macaloon/Prefab Sprout, which is a lyrical album which came to mind during the Ackles piece. Thanks for introducing me to some new stuff.

So pleased to see North Sea Radio Orchestra getting some airplay. Their inspiration comes from Penguin Cafe Orchestra, who you should check out, but influence also comes via Cardiacs (and William D. Drake who was in both bands). Cardiacs a prog/punk, avante garde, music hall, jazz band that was led by the late Dr Tim Smith. Mad but brilliant and also worthy of checking out.

"Eve" is one of the I&W outtake tracks that I thought would slip past notice. It was written by then keyboardist Kevin Moore and features his emotive and spiritually leaning style, and shares some similarities with his one that made it onto the album -Wait for Sleep. Like most of the others (Bombay Vindaloo, Moonbubbles, Barfbag, Puppies on Acid) it was an instrumental that served as interstitial music or an intro to other pieces. The other two I remember were full songs - To Live Forever and A Change of Seasons.

Re: Bad Company. This performance was two years after Boz Burrell passed away. Lynne Sorensen is on bass, and Howard Leese (who was with Heart for over 2 decades) is the second guitarist. This was actually a one-time performance for Bad Company, as Paul Rodgers was still working with Queen at the time. That collaboration ended in 2009, and Rodgers has gone between Bad Company and solo work since. David Ackles and The Ocean were probably my favorite other songs in this episode. Everyone keeps putting up great things for me to check out!
