YEEEESSSS KAEDE MY GIRL TELL HIM! Honestly this was a very delay yet necessary confrontation, like poor Kaede was brought to another land with lies and was these 🤏 close of danger and if it wasn't for the intervention I don't even want to imagine what could happen to her. And it's worse because in the last reunion with the king it was obvious that it was his true intentions all along of having her as a coin/gift/play thing for the royals. I would feel furious and betray, mixed of how she was being treated in her own home for something that wasn't her fault, it's complicated. Yeah I would also won't give 2 shits to a "home" that treated me like this and fight with the responsible.

Right? I'm so curious! Maybe cuz the war or maybe he thought he was so "smart" and it was a consequence of running his mouth, ohhhh or maybe both? Because none it's that good with words and playing people without a lot of practice.

My thought is he now has a vendetta because of the war, I don’t know if he had a hand in etia’s death or not but I wonder if because of the war he wants narakians to suffer like they possibly made his people suffer. He’s got a hold on them somehow because he makes them very uneasy, outside of the real top dogs but he’s even shook them. I hope Kaedae gives him what for because it seems like she is the only one who sees him for what he is from the moment she found out he lied and put her in danger.

Ohhh that's good! And very realistic, I mean if I could make the same to people that make me and mine nation suffer a little, yeah I would be that petty too. The big BUT here is that he's using his own people in his plans too, which again sadly very realistic in THIS type of manipulative, they see everyone as piece of the game aka disposable and it's not that hard being good in controlling the narrative when they don't speak well your language and their king is really lazy and kinda small minded with a big head, prideful people are soooo easy to trick, you just need to appeal to their ego and they don't ask questions, like that page about their conversation with the council? King could have ask more questions but because he is more interested in wine and pretty ladies he couldn't think outside of his own nose, honestly no wonder his ex wife didn't like him, sure she was a brusque but someone that small minded would make me angry too, especially if they are in power. Also if we are fair both nations in my opinion, well I think more the people in charge, are to blame for the whole disaster in their people lives in different ways, I mean the ex queen say it "going to war against creatures that weak would only bring suffering to both nations" and look what happen. If they did an investigation about the death of Kor's grandma, if they actually listen to their queen in not being so quick to want a war and THINK ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES, if they thought "oh wait is mess up to blame a whole nation of innocents that have nothing to gain with this murder in what it seen the action of a group", everything could be better, and their rules that also restring and unfair some of their people wants, something different in other ways, and the whole speech of the king about "women aren't meant to be leaders because they are too emotional"... Yeah no wonder Kor's sister is so angry with the council full of stupid old men. And Kaede's people... Well just see the doble standard in a very recluse very religious society and they have no problem using their own people, they claim to hate these creatures and their vile sinful ways and then have fun them? How they treat people like Kaede and her mom? Dude that's horrible, you all are suffering and make innocent victims feel guilty of their own existence and point fingers? I mean obviously there's big strong bias between both nations (but I think is more because lack of positive contact and being more open minded) but they won't be struggling about water, heck they could even make a deal, you know good honest diplomacy and the other nations would be able to expand his intellectual horizons and other areas too, did you see how massive the library was? All that knowledge.
