This was partially supposed to be a dumb joke sketch, keeping with the theme of dressing characters up in random food-related costumes. But sheesh, leave it to Laura to rock a potato sack like she's Marilyn Monroe... nicely done Tom.

This makes me wonder if burlap is reasonably comfortable on fur. Maybe? I would think it doesn't chafe the skin but the fur gets horribly matted through the holes in the fabric, making you look like a porcupine.

Not necessarily… a normal adult red fox weighs about 5-7 kilograms (10-15 pounds) … the same size of potatoes would weigh much more than a fox…!

Yes, from what we have seen, she is around the size of a petite human woman, so she would be unlikely to weigh less than eighty pounds at minimum.
